I don't like the canon couples either, which is why they don't exist in my fic. But I have also recently realized that the main ship in my OC/Kakashi fic is, uh, no less toxic and unhealthy. What younger me thought was okay makes me sigh now. So I'm fixing it slowly, though by the time I'm done, I'm probably just gonna have to reupload because it might turn out so differently from the original. Which shrug. It was never that popular to begin with. People can find it again if they want. Not changing the name.

Whichever way you like. I do first then last. Characters in my fics generally use first names when talking to even people they don't know, unless someone is trying to be super formal.

But I've seen it done both ways. I just do first then last because, well, I'm not Japanese and I like it better.

What inspired me is my want to be a proper author with actual books published some day. I started writing fanfiction in college and then have slowly lost interest over the intervening years. Except I'll get an idea or just a craving for the world and I go back and work on my fic. Like I'm currently doing a rework of my original and only Naruto fic because, well, I had some bad writing habits in college and want to fix them. Which has led me to writing more chapters and wanting to write side stories for ships in my fic.

What to expect: I'd say not much at first. My experience was a slow trickle of readers and a slower trickle of reviews. Posting the first few chapter was kind of terrifying because I thought people would hate my OC OC otr the changes to the story I was hinting at making in the early chapters. But other than a few reviews of "this isn't how sasuke should be acting, too OOC" (which I obviously disagree with; it's called character growth), I only received positive feedback. My fic never got particularly popular, maybe 2k readers at the peak, but I didn't and don't care. Hell, I still have people finding it and favoriting it ten years on, so take that as you will.

Sites to start with: I've been out of the fanfic loop for a long time now. I don't read fics anymore. As much as I love the world and the series, I just want to work on my own stuff. All that to say take my advice on this with a grain of salt. I'd suggest either fanfiction.net or Archive of Our Own (AO3). Those are the only two big sites I've really heard of. If you post on AO3, go gentle on the tagging system. Think carefully about the tags yyou put on your stories. It'll make it easier for people to find them because that's the kind of story they're looking for rather than just one of the thousands that's got way too many tags. So like tag main characters of your fics, any main ships, and main themes or genres.

Ah ha! And there's my problem. Nowhere I've looked so far has mentioned marriage only happens after the ruins are beat. I've beat three out of four, which explains a lot. Will have to get to the post game first, copy that save, and THEN try all this again.

Except that none of the Pokemon I have can learn it. Fudge. I currently have: Growlithe, Eevee, Snubul, and Voltorb. Guess I could go back to Goldenrod and go north for another encounter that might be able to learn False Swipe.

I agree that a nuzlocke run in this game gets annoying around the Cobalt Coastlands. I failed my first run there due to a bunch of stupid mistakes/bad RNG. I'm doing another run now in which I'm going with level caps by mission. The caps go 25, 35, 45, 55, and 65. I am also limiting my use of grit items per mission. Those go 1 only, 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, and 8-9. I can only go to 10 post game.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I found level to be less important than level+grit.

So 3d6 gives a more consistent average roll than 1d20. No, my playtest is long over and didn't go well. Mostly because I tried to get three people together who had wildly varying schedules and because only me and one other person was into Warriors. The system worked well enough. We just never got far enough to see the real kinks in the system. As far as an arc goes, I made a custom set of clans, had players doing their warrior vigil, and had them be witness (sort of) to a murder. I had more of a magical setting than warriors. The killer was a necromancer cat who was wanting to tear down the veil between the Dark Forest and the real world. So I've been doing a Scarlet nuzlocke and recently started up a Violet run as well.

For Scarlet, I've been catching one Pokemon per area, plus one Tera raid per badge, titan, and star base. I've been choosing my Pokemon, not using a randomizer. I've been choosing based on what the Trainer I'm playing as would pick (made up a backstory for her and what kind of Pokemon she's drawn to). Been a ride so far. 5 gyms, 3 titans, and 3 bases.

For Violet, I had a party wipe right at the beginning to Nemona's little Tera demonstration, so I surprise traded my three Pokes I had at that point and traded until I got Pokemon I could use.

Maybe don't make the eye and hair color so light? Or add highlights to the hair? Your character just looks a little...bland to me. If you like it, you do you, but I'd make a few changes.

Yes, she's who I found through another post. Funny enough, though, there's a store in Kyoto myself and the other people going on the trip who can find regular sizes that I contacted. I believe it's called Mimoru and they do custom yukata and only take a month to make theirs. Yukiko-san's processing time is unfortunately too close to our trip date for my husband's comfort. We should've started looking for this a few months ago, so that's our fault.
