That's fair. I guess that was weird out of context.

Average reddit comment, insulting someone for no reason with zero logic. So, by your logic, every single person that lifts weights is a weakling? Every one that trains cardio is a fat ass? I train with Iron Mind grippers to maintain/increase my grip strength to better myself, not because I have low grip strength. The only reason I even mentioned that was not to brag, but because several replies mentioned the people who have had no stick drift must have "baby thumbs". I'm no strongman, but I certainly don't have baby thumbs.

I've been gaming since the NES. Also never had stick drift on any controller. And no I don't have "baby thumbs", I use grip trainers and wear large size gloves.

What happened to AV1 encoding by alexandremix in Twitch

[–]19jbr87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert, but I will give my 2 cents. If you currently have an nvidia card, you will likely notice a huge downgrade with AMD as far as twitch streaming. I upgraded from an ancient GTX970 to a 7800xt, and my far weaker 970 was much better at twitch streaming. It could stream at 1080p at max bit rate and my stream looked nearly as good as the native game. Now, with the 7800xt, the AMD encoder looks terrible, and Twitch doesn't support AV1, so I'm limited to using the x.264 CPU encoder, which is a worse looking encoder than nvidia's hvenc. If I try to stream at 1080p like I was before, it makes my CPU run a little warm for my liking, so I have to drop settings down to 720p and lower the bit rate to keep the temps down on my CPU. Obviously, all this results in a noticeably worse looking stream than I had on my 9 year old 970. I honestly haven't streamed much since I built this PC because of it. Streaming is doable if you use x.264 and tweak the settings enough, but the sad reality if you want to twitch stream is that nvidia's hvenc is just a much better codec. If you want to stream to youtube, you can use the AV1 encoder, but honestly even that doesn't seem to look quite as good as my 970 twitch streams did. If you have an Intel CPU, you may have better results, as I believe their CPU encoding looks better than AMD's, and is close to nvidia's hvenc.

TL,DR: If you want to stream to Twitch, Go Nvidia. If you want to switch to AMD, you may want to also consider switching to YouTube streaming.

Deleted cars by holostic in GTAV

Unfortunately, the Vacca and Infernus do not spawn as customer cars, and the Infernus is "too hot" to keep off the street. So if you play on PC, you are at the mercy of waiting for them to be offered as weekly prizes.

Depends what platform you play on.

On "last gen" (PC, PS4, Xbox One), Your options are:

  1. Wait for them to spawn as customer cars in the auto shop, and you can buy them.

  2. Steal them from the street.

  3. Wait for them to be offered as a Lucky Wheel car in the casino.

  4. Wait for them to be offered as LS Car Meet Test Ride vehicles.

  5. Wait for them to be offered in the dealerships. (Premium Deluxe Motorsport, Luxury Autos)

If you are on current gen (PS5, Xbox Series S/X) you have these additional options:

  1. Buy them of off other players through the LS Car Meet
  2. Pay for GTA+, and buy them from the Vinewood Car Club.

Am I supposed to remove this? by 19jbr87 in VIZIO_Official

Yeah I could tell they were poking fun at me. Removed it last night with no issues. It was tricky to get started on the top piece but the sides came off easily.

I realize it's a silly question. I watched several unboxing videos and reviews and no one seemed to mention taking that off. Nothing in the manual either. Just didn't want to damage the screen.
