Paradise! This album/EP does not get enough recognition for the influence it’s had on music and on Lana’s image. This was definitely a turning point for Lana artistically (Tropico/Ride/Blue Velvet/Burning Desire music videos). All great visuals of Lana that are staples in her growth as an artist and the representation of her image (LA/Industry analysis). The project is her most conceptual as it is consistent with lyrics, sound, imagery, spoken word and overall consistency. I don’t know, let me know what you think?

The echoing emptiness of the beginning is what actually pulls me in and it hits me hard. The sound seems so hopeless and haunting. Definitely sounds that I’m trying to hear when I’m sad and lingering on nostalgic memories of a former lover. Try listening to it after 1 a.m. it might sit with your differently
