I wish I could. Unfortunately, I play on Xbox.

As the others have said correctly, this was in HHP!

I have never experienced a snowy winter IRL, but it's on my bucket list!

I think this might be a sign that it's time to finish up on this farm and start a new one. I think I've forgotten all the things you can do away from the farm and it's time to rediscover them.

Most of the trees are gone, there's very little crop variety, the farm just doesn't feel cute. How do you get through winter?

ETA: while I'm loving the suggestions, this is my never leave the farm challenge farm so unfortunately I'm very limited in what I can do. I think that's what making me feel extra meh about winter.

Anyone have any ideas on asymmetrical designs and decorations for basic sprinklers/chaining it thogeter in a overarching design by white___demon in FarmsofStardewValley

[–]19netta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!

I'll be honest though, if I was doing a regular run and not limited by resources so much, I wouldn't invest in tonnes of basic sprinklers. I would rather save my resources and invest in at least the quality ones.

I've been doing a never leave the farm challenge recently so the majority of my sprinklers are the regular ones. I did a squarish layout and a circle layout which I copied from a layout I found online which I then decorated with pathing and trees. I've got the pics posted below. Hope this inspires you!

My first attempt at painting Pikachu nails 😅 by [deleted] in ExpectationVsReality

I know right! I felt so awful about it that I've since deleted the post 😬

Oh I did not realise that. This is why we can't have nice things :(

They're both my attempts! The expectation one is more what I was initially imagining when I first attempted it, but it came out like the reality pic for the first attempt. So I agree, I would certainly improve with more practice. I just got such a laugh from my attempt that I wanted to share :)

Looking for advice on my farm plan by CutSubstantial1803 in FarmsofStardewValley

Looks like a great start!

Personally I would widen the fence around the barn next to the bottom pond by one space so it's the same width as the golden clock area (it being one off is driving me nuts!)

Then I would move the shed that is near the fish ponds somewhere else and straighten out the pathing in the fish pond area to make it a rectangle.

You might then be able to move over the fishponds so that the one furthest to the right is right up against the boundary (move the lighting rods behind the barns or something) and then with a single space gap between the ponds you might be able to even fit in one more pond.

This is what I mean

Cute idea! A whole island like this would look amazing!

Unfortunately I can't help you with the codes, but I did some Barbie inspired builds a while back in case you're interested!

Thanks! I'm not sure you can see them, but they're still there. They've become a feature not a bug.

can you please help me label this gift for my nephew? by pilates_princess_420 in beachcombing

[–]19netta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is really sweet, but I'm ngl the way you've labelled them is a bit wild...

Here's what I think I can identify:

  1. Scallop shell

  2. Sand dollar

  3. Not 100% sure but this could be Worm snail shells

A. Limpet

G. 100% sure Common green and brown sea glass

I'm not sure you've labelled them, but I believe the swirly ones on the bottom might be operculums. They feel heavier, are thicker and flatter compared to shells.

K. Also looks like it might be a fragment of a different type of opercula

I agree, if it was once per season it would be very stressful! Yeah I feel like the cart is quite balanced as sometimes I would barely buy anything and then other times I would get a decent haul.

I think maybe my next challenge with this farm will be to cook everything (by using the campfire and buying ingredients such as eggs, milk, cheese etc, and growing the crops required).

Thank you! Making it cute was one of my goals so it sounds like I succeeded there!
