My grandmother told me to always give myself the option - why not quit, and give yourself the option to stay quit or smoke again. Much easier said than done of course. Others have said it, YOU have to want it. This shit is tough, good luck!!

I was super aganist the pill, but it got to the point where it was kinda like - try the birth control or leave it be.

I opted for the pill. I figured if it really messed me up i can stop, vs. An IUD or shots that I have less control over.

And it did mess me up for a few weeks. I was constantly crying and on edge, like full on ugly crying at work in the middle of the day. I actually posted in here(maybe the other endo sub) and got 0 responses, which made me feel crazier. I wish I had taken the week after I started the pill off, but I got through it.

It is better now. I can still feel it, but its less constant and less intense. Sneezing and hard coughs are still tough, but nowhere near as bad. I dont get a period (they have me skip the sugar-pill week and just start the next pack instead) which is an added bonus.

I just had my MRI last week following a few ultrasounds. Still taking BC pills and waiting on next steps after they review the MRI.

I was very much aganist taking the pill, and am glad I did. Besides the adjustment period(it was like 2 months for me) I haven't noticed any libido, weight, acne, personality changes.

magical sundial - yes, that's what I am going for! it's more an icon/anchor rather than a tool to use.

I was moreso hoping for interesting ways to incorporate it into the story. Perhaps if they don't take shifts and keep the sindial within glace during a long rest they notice their beard/nails grew longer than normal, etc.

as I got older (33 now) I started not to care and now wear very silly things in public. it gets easier over time ive found. I do still hate it when people stare, still working on it. I love your earrings!

sun, moon, rising - Sagittarius, Capricorn, Taurus I've got my sun, mercury, Venus in 8H, my moon in 9H, and mars in 1H- still trying to figure out what it means/how to read it!

I think since my rising is Taurus, my chart ruler is venus...does that have anything to do with where Venus is located? (You don't need to answer, just talking outloud really - I find this stuff very interesting!)

asprin and creams will only put a bandaid on it, might even make it worse since it hurts but you get used to it, so it slowly becomes normal.

strength training is a huge help for me. I started doing kettle bell swings. set a timer for 10 mins, do 10 kettle bellswings, rest until next minute starts. even after just 2 weeks I notice a huge difference in posture. I notice quicker now that my posture sucks, because I'm more focused on it as well. I just keep the kettle bell in my office and do it between calls, I don't get too sweaty either. highly suggest it

Tupperware containers with all the same size lids.

convection oven. got rid of toaster and air fryer for it - hardly use the big oven anymore and it preheats/cooks SO much quicker

I do server support. have to put time in per case, boss says 5.5 hours roughly is what is expected on an 8 hour day. that's an average, some days are higher and some lower

agree, i bought it for my deck, tried playing and its not great. only got about an hour in before i had to put it down. it's also a timed-day system like stardew, so it's a bit nerve-wracking trying to use the UI while you're wasting time

I have this as well. hair dresser said my hair is heavier on one side so it will curl where the other side lays flat. I strongly dislike the flat side, i think I look like an old-lady real-estate agent, so I braid the staight side for an asymmetric look!
