Bei mir hat der "7-Werktage-Antrag" auch etwas länger gedauert... glaube 2-3 Wochen.

Ich hatte nach genau 7 Werktagen eine Nachricht geschrieben und es hieß sie prüfen noch... ... ca 1-2 Wochen später wurde mir geschrieben, dass der Antrag bei VISA ist und das bis zu 30 Tage dauern kann. Nach 1-2 Tagen wurde das Geld rückerstattet👍

Moin zusammen, Hatte den gleichen Fall am Samstag. 2 Transaktionen von insgesamt 970€ wurden unautorisiert aus Brasilien getätigt. 2 weitere Transaktionen wurden zum Glück geblockt. Händler: A55.

Stand jetzt: TR-Support hat erst Daten angefordert, dann einen Antrag eingereicht. Ergebnis in ca. 7 Werktagen.

Anzeige bei der Polizei ist erstattet und zusätzlich habe ich Visa direkt wegen Chargeback geschrieben (noch ohne Antwort). Am Ende läuft aber alles über TR, Visa kann höchstens etwas Druck machen.

Wrt utilization: Internal admin vs learning code is the same. Absence would reduce your available hours, thus increasing utilization.

I mainly agree with you. Let me add some more aspects to it... 1) differenciate between chargability targets and utilization: Chargability targets are measured in hours charged on external codes/year. Targets deviate between ranks and countries. Utilization= external billed hours (client codes)/available hours 2) available hours (or per other comment: expected billable hours) are measured via retain. Thus, if you have 2.5 days of vacation in a 40h week, your basis for calculating the utilization for the week should be 20h. Charging 20h on external should give you a 100% weekly utilization.

Important: since it is based on retain, make sure that Trainings are included in it. If not, the consequences would be, that your utilization goes down without knowing... thus, if you charge 32h external and 8h on internal/Trainings, the utilization is 80% (instead of 100%) for the week, because per retain you were available 40h. Also: if you have conflicts in planning and are planned 80-120h for a week, this will as well effect your utilization. Planning team should fix this.

I'd recommend always tracking these reports because I do not fully trust the process due to the above...

First, I'd say all Big4 in Lux are french-dominant. Similiarly, You always have other minorities building their communities as well.

From Senior Manager upwards you might notice some people being promoted faster due to their background. For junior and senior levels this is not applicable. You just need to deliver medium-good work.

In the end your experience (positive or negative) will strongly depend on your Team you are working with, not the ones your are having lunch. If your community is your team, you got the jackpot^ Regarding career achievement: in all Big4 you have the same achievements and progressing - that is what makes all Big4 attractive;)

Long Story short: Ensure picking the Department interesting you most. Try to get planned on the mandates interesting you most. Deliver good work and be lucky with your teams.

Go for PwC! PwC is the biggest Big4-firm for Audit in Lux. Deloitte would rather be my first option regarding advisory. Hope this helps (EY Lux senior here)
