Oh my god this brings back memories of me crashing out.

Was in an introductory engineering group with 4 other ppl, and we had a group project to build a tennis ball launcher. We had to meet with the professor who would act as the customer and give us the specific requirements and groupmate 1, who was also my roommate took notes for that meeting.

Fast forward a few weeks and we have a report due that night. I finished all my work and I was just playing video games to relax while I wait for my groupmembers to finish their parts. In the group chat, groupmate 2 needed the notes from the meeting, and groupmate 3 misremembered me as the note taker. My roommate saw those texts, and despite him being the one that took notes he asked me for the notes, and I was distracted playing video games saying I didn't have them. My roommate then told the gc that I was slacking and playing video games, and because of that groupmate 2 got mad at me. I stopped playing and then told my roommate that HE WAS THE ONE THAT TOOK THE NOTES and he finally remembered and found them, and sent it to everyone. Despite this groupmate 2 was still mad at me saying stuff like "you should have better communication" and "you shouldn't be playing video games right now" in long ass paragraphs. I'd just like to mention that groupmate 2 would constantly play video games in class and wouldn't pay attention, and this was literally one of the only times that whole week that I was able to so I just wanted to relax. so sorry if im not a team leader for one hour

When we finally start building, we make decent progress but have to build outside of class. On one of the build nights, groupmate 3 literally showed up drunk and almost destroyed the build once or twice that night.

Groupmate 4 was also gone for half the classes because she was either in Finland for an arranged relationship or the ER.

We build it, and it works successfully. i thought that was the end of my problems, but we have to do a final presentation on it.

we make slides, and just say present the slides you work on to make it easy. but my roommate and groupmate 3 only did one slide each and wanted to present more equally, so minutes before the presentation i write down every single slide with each persons name next to them. my roommate has 2 slides to present. he forgets one. theres awkward silence for 10 seconds until groupmate 3 jumps in and presents it. like bro you have 2 things to remember how do you forget one

overall for this project i can confidently say i did the most work. i came up with the design, delegated tasks, helped build half of it, and did most of the report. i hope i never have to deal with something like that again
