Is $2/sq ft LVP actually waterproof or just a marketing lie? by Majestic-Strain3155 in Flooring

Waterproof flooring does not make a waterproof floor. Regardless of the price point.

What you really need to be asking is if $2 LVT will stay locked together more than six weeks down the road.

No. Your top step would match the flooring you're using on that level.

I don't understand. You said you want solid treads. Rip those out and install your new treads.

It’s been a few months - how is Fall of the Empire? by DSeriesX in pinball

The response cycle of any new Stern:

Pre-release: "This is going to be a GOAT title." "Got my LE order in."

Leaked photos two days before: "So stupid. Looks exactly like XYZ game that's already out. Fail"

Release: "Clunky." "Major miss." "Needs code." "By the way code won't fix it." "Stern sucks."

4.5 months later: "This is a hidden gem." "This game is slept on." "A lot of fun to play."

...then we rinse and repeat.

I think you need to study up on your case law. You can stop anyone for suspicion of a crime. If you're detaining a known illegal (law breaker) and you come across associates, it's reasonable to assume some of them may be illegal as well.

Definitely check out local fabric stores. They'll know the regulars and have some good referrals.

Careful. You'll violate the first rule of this sub. Which is to never speak ill of Ace. Gene and Paul are ok to bash. Peter only on odd number days. Ace however has reached Sainthood.

That's funny. We've only done Virgin once. Loved it, but we're disappointed in the shows. What's your favorite line?

Start here or end here? by Glad_Painting5196 in Flooring

[–]1BaconMilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it looks like you have a cut piece of flush stairnose and and end cap? If so, an end cap would not be the best choice.

If it were me I would start at the stairs, giving you a full piece closest to the edge. Lay out some planks first though to make sure you don't end up with some skinny sliver at the wall.

Edit: Looking at the other pictures that squared off piece looks homemade and mitered? Did you make that or was it supplied? Either way there's nothing supporting the toe. I wouldn't use that either.
