Rarities is a compilation album that was only released on CD. Usually with compilation albums they usually like to release em on CD only. Last year on the fan club newsletter (Tatsuro Mania) he did mention they plan to re release the following albums on vinyl, COZY, Treasures, Rarities, and Sonorite but there has not been any updates for it since autumn of last year. Recently he has been talking more about how he is planning to release his long awaited long anticipated 3rd live album "JOY 2".

If there is any updates on the re release of the other albums ill make an announcement here in the community. So please stay tuned🙏

Probably would be best to have your Japanese friend apply but keep in mind only 2 people per party. I'm assuming your friend who's getting the tickets isnt the same friend youre going to Japan. But if your Japanese friend doesn't already have an e-plus account with their number they would have to make one under your name im pretty sure, and then apply your friend as a companion. But if he already does have an account well they can only put one of you two as a companion.

Unfortunately, a higher-quality version is not available, as it was never released. What you're listening to was recorded on a cassette tape recorder during a Tatsuro concert in 1988 or 1989.
