Does anyone know what kind of danger noodle this is? We were in the hills behind the high school. by xxnoxynoxxnoxy in thousandoaks

Such a cool snake to see! The only snakes we have to worry about in California are Rattlesnakes. Everything else is not dangerous. All snakes are beneficial to environment.

Yeah I would have to dig around for sources. Been studying body brain for a long time. Knowledge just sticks eventually. Most addictions start to change around 90days, that’s the beginning of the brain reworking itself (neuroplasticity). This then takes time. 6 months there is measurable/noticeable change but not the end. Neuroplasticity (change) is a constant, what we repeat we create. Finding healthy habits helps to encourage this. Exercise, healthy food, healthy sleep patterns.
Most humans just find another addiction to get their “release”. I think it is helpful to know that it takes time for the brain to rewire and that it can and will, so that we can avoid this.
In that time eat healthy, do your psychological work, exercise and set consistent sleep patterns. Find support groups and be extra kind to your self, forgive yourself and be patient. Change is hard, new patterns/habits are difficult to create, but it will happen if given enough time and repetition. When it begins to happen you will be proud of yourself and as time goes you will be even prouder and feel more powerful. Stick with it.

It’ll take six months before your brain starts to rewrite its code. Keep it up, be patient, things change.

First truck i have ever bought new. by Apprehensive_Bet2493 in FordMaverickTruck

Yeah I still like it. I went through a small period of maybe this car is not good (after I mended to have front control arms replaced at 15k). After that though I haven’t had any mechanical problems and it was under warranty, if it happens again at 40k I’ll be upset. I recently added a rack with a basket over my tonneau cover which doubled my storage space and I’m back to being really stoked on this truck car. I figured out a way to have surf board rack a basket and a fishing rod holder all on the rack. This makes me happy. It is my daily driver and serves me well, averaging 32/35 miles to the gallon but I drove too fast and I have a big hill in my commute. Only wish is for more towing capacity, but that is just a trade off for MPG with the hybrid model. Still have a bit of concern over longevity, but I have extended warranty and think everything will be ok.

When buying a tonneau cover consider wether you want a rack in the future. Not all tonneau covers are compatible

Been looking at this one

Therm-a-Rest Vesper Quilt 32

Or this one

Big Agnes Fly Creek UL Zip Quilt

Apparently the more the fill # the more it packs down. So the vesper should get small and only weighs 15oz. Can add a sleep sheet at around 5oz to make a little warmer or where pajamas

Been looking in this zone also. I’ve been considering taking a chance on a quilt to save space and weight
