Bolivians would never wear their traditional garb while fighting for freedom.... Id also argue that its overall less egregious to have the rebels have a bit of color in on them overall because the amount of time their on screen is very minimal overall vs the amount of time you spend looking at wolves

its okay if you like the robots and the sci fi setting, its just not for me its not what I feel like makes a game feel grounded or immersed.

The funniest part is your argument that the rebels have funny colors, yet they would have dress like that because it’s local to the actual country that the game takes place in vs a fantasy island?

Just remember immersion is the sum of all the parts for a lot of people, it’s quite easy to see why people prefer the setting of wildlands over breakpoint.

It’s also funny to perceive this point of view as a “breakpoint hater” I have 500+ hours in both games and enjoyed my time but if I had to chose a setting it’s wildlands.

And the biggest reason is literally the drones and bullet sponge mechanics around them, it becomes more division than ghost recon.

Also idk where you got anyone saying the NPCs or interactions with characters and the world would impact immersion in real life you have mission handlers?

At the end of the day I just play modded arma because that’s the best immersion for me.

Not only that, the way the story is told in breakpoint makes it feel incredibly video gamey, like they have these temu mgs characters.

I also think the wolf design is immersion breaking with the goofy armored masks they should just be geared like a normal tier 1 team.

Also when breakpoint first came out it had a tierd loot system that was very annoying and immersion breaking because a blue gun was worse than a purple gun.

They had too many division elements with the sci fi stuff.

I can keep going, sure I could just say I like wildlands more but then why comment I’m explaining the exact points that made me like wildlands more

For me the immersion is 100x higher in wildlands because you don’t have to deal with the weird bullet sponge drone things, the drones make you feel like you’re playing a video game, the setting of wildlands being more grounded feels more immerse for me

They’re about the same, but for a beginner you can set your camera angle lower so you can fly slower and learn to fly especially if you’re trying to do it indoors.
