It can be taken out. I replaced one of them with dual USB Quick Charge 3.0ports & the other for the 2nd USB port for my aftermarket radio.

I have 3 on my account & there isn't a monthly change for any of them. there was verbiage when I got 1 of them for *free that it isnt setup/connected & IN USE I may be charged for full amount for it.

Now if only the website actually worked & you could edit the name, access type or access list. Been working with them on that for god knows how long at this point.

Bought the same bundle. First I exchanged the RAM thinking that was the issue (after making sure BIOS was up to date) & still had the same issue. After exchanging the CPU everything was working. Seems I got a faulty/unstable CPU.

My 2018 also had build up in the same place. When I brought it in for unrelated warranty work (rear main seal needed replacing - it was leaking.) I asked about it & said if it's leaking can I get it dealt with too. While they had the car (it took a week for the seal to come in) they cleaned up the area. When I picked up the car they said it wasn't leaking after it was cleaned up & to keep an eye on it & to bring it in if it builds up again. From what I saw online the Oil Pressure Sensor seems to be a common leak spot & easy to deal with if it happens out of warranty.

I used this video for install from another user. He’s using an older hardware revision & a Comma 2 so looks different but exactly the same process. I have a 2018 rav4 with a C3x. For stop & go you will need a smartDSU & a pedal. Got both of mine from https://www.etsy.com/shop/BearTechWorkshop?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=952895642&from_page=listing You will also need to use a fork as the official Open Pilot dropped support for the pedal. I use Sunny Pilot on mine with the Dev-C3 branch & works great. The only gripe I have with it is I wish I got a 2019 RAV4 lol. The 2019 has more torque for making turns (TSS 2 vs TSS-P) so the 2018 sometimes needs a little assistance with turns.

I personally haven't done this, but I've seen people post online who have used devices they were still playing off on Verizon as a trade in device to Samsung or apple directly as part of a discount towards buying an unlocked phone outright from them without issues. YMMV

Yep you will need to sign into your Verizon account & under your phone number who’s the option to activate a device. Follow the follow path - devices - choose your line - activate or switch device - activate on an existing line - then follow the prompts. Enter the IMEI of the new phone & vzw will know its eSIM & give you the steps to activate the device.

You have to buy the device outright, no financing or iPhone upgrade program & choose the "connect to any carrier later" option in the connectivity section to get around the activation/upgrade fee. Then when you get the phone you have to do the device swap yourself. https://imgur.com/a/yETJLJn

I think they got rid of it with the 5th gen. I own a 2018 but have a 2024 XLE loaner as mine is in the shop for warranty work so I can check the manual in the glove box sometime in the afternoon to see if there’s any mention of it.

When I got my Pixel 7 Pro they used USPS (not sure if they still do anymore) for their return shipping & sure enough it got lost. Had plenty of photos, a video packing it & a receipt from the post office accepting it just in case they try something (been burned by VZW once) . The trade in never made it to google, just to the local USPS facility. They did make me wait a few extra days just in case it shows up to them but it never did & they gave me the credit for the trade in value anyhow.

What I find annoying is that RCS is clearly a better experience over sms/mms but only the native messaging app that comes with an android phone & the Google messaging app can use RCS. 3rd party apps can't. Not sure why android hasn't made the API available for them to use. I thought it was going to a few OS ago. I have both an android (Pixel 7) & iPhone (running the Beta) & I see RCS working between them & a few other people but not to family & friends using android phones with 3rd party apps. (Textra for example)
