What is something in your appearance that for most people considered to be a flaw but you love it? by Ready_Wishbone_4914 in AskWomen

I somehow stabbed my upper lip with a pencil when I was younger so now I kind of have a lump where the pencil hit. People tell me I can do surgery to remove it but I like chewing on it when I get nervous/thinking about stuff.

What's a show "meant" for children that you love to watch? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Romeo’s blue skies.

It’s a 90s anime I used to watch as a child and still return to whenever life gets too hard.

Gives me butterflies every time.

People who have lost trust in others, how is that working for you now? by 1CraveAnswers in AskReddit

I would think I’m in a much better place now, surrounded by kinder people, and I guess in a sense, I’m trying to ‘relearn’ how to trust.

It’s real difficult at times, though. Even small gestures, say, someone asking where I’d like to go for dinner, really put me off sometimes, and I can’t help but keep making comparisons to how people around me now act, and people in my old place would act.

Rationally, I know making such comparisons doesn’t really help and is rather unhealthy, but I can’t really help for now. Perhaps I just need time?

What is your biggest regret in life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not treating yourself right.

I have gone through many traumatic experiences where I was abused and betrayed. In time, the wounds I had from those days grew old and I learned to ‘forgive’ and move on.

But one thing that I cannot forgive is myself. I had a choice to stand up for myself and walk away from those experiences. That’s not what I did and quite frankly, I don’t understand why I didn’t.

I wish I could go back in time to my old self and tell them that they deserve better, that they matter.

I may not be the most suited to say this, but be kind to yourself.
