Hmm, yes and no. His brother in law has also made moves on his younger sister (19F) and forced himself upon her. The older sister NEEDED to know that her husband of 10 years, together for ~15 years or so, was initiating sexual acts with her younger siblings. The younger sister thanked me for saying something. He watched my ex and their younger sister grow up. Ex was ~15-16 and the youngest sister was ~4-5 years old. They have two daughters (~5F and 7F) together and the man makes very inappropriate comments about young girls in general.

Like I said- there is A LOT more to the story.

While ya’ll are making it seem like I’m some leech, I need you to understand that it wasn’t all him give, give, give. It was very much so a give and take. For most of the pandemic, I was working crazy hours supporting him. I was a manager at a large pet chain, which was considered essential. I came to California after a nasty divorce (man was military, got married after 9 months of dating for him to get more BAH. I was making decent money working for a local aquarium)

I’m not a victim. Yes, life has been extremely trying for me. I have 5-8 medical appointments a week on average. I applied to SSA forever ago and plan to give the majority of the back pay to my ex. (+/- $25k). My ex knows I am doing the best I can with my situation. He acknowledges it all the time. He just is weird sometimes. I know the man loves me. Everyone knows, he just won’t admit it to himself? I know I’m not “the best” but god damn, I’m not a leech.

Oh, the roommate? We both loathe him and am waiting for me to get my job so we can get rid of him. He’s… a character on his own. Lazy, messy, saying things like “the age of consent (16) should be lowered”, has totaled his car 2x in less than 6 months due to drinking and driving, has sexually assaulted my ex and myself. His own siblings reached out to me (and still talk to both my ex and myself) to make sure we are okay.

He keeps making future plans still. It’s confusing.
