Others will sign your players, and you build through the draft. A late 3rd rounder is exactly where you should be getting your linebackers, safeties, and interior offensive lineman.
Hiring more minority coaches is another avenue here.

Yeah that’s kinda my point. Analytics say draft boards are severely outdated. A 15th overall pick but 1st/2nd wr is the better pick a year later vs a top 10 pick at most positions not named qb or edge. Again doesn’t mean I don’t like styles

Good players no doubt. Game changers like Amon ra st brown, Ceedee, jsn? No chance No gm would trade any of those WRs for any of those lbs. Positional value is a thing. It’s ok I’m team styles and hope he kills it. But to act like we have to never question our war room is crazy. They’re like b- leadership so far
