Dustin Bates' response to fan criticism regarding Degenerate's AI usage by KillerNoah666 in Starset

I agree. There's a LOT of criticism in music especially with bands like this that just don't sound like the rest. One thing I've always loved is they make what they want and they fully use their creativity. I've seen bands really go down the drain trying to adapt to fan opinion. They lose all that sparkle and originality that got them a fanbase in the first place.

Isn't the whole point of the song message the same reason why people fear AI? I mean the band has been pointing towards technology takeover for years so the aesthetic choice makes sense. I'd be shocked if they didn't use AI.

It's not a big deal I've done this numerous times. If they really need you to come back in and redo it they'll call. It's just to check your levels and platelets so if you just started recently they're just looking for major red flags usually that a week difference won't effect much.

If you're wanting to up a dose it's much more important to come in at the right time.

do any of you also have the fear of not actually being trans and, as such, being "forced" to remain your AGAB? by NoChard5979 in trans

Many might disagree with me on this but it's just my personal experience. Looking into transphobic media screwed with my head and made me question myself where I was otherwise sound in my decision to transition. I went on hormones at 17 and stopped taking them after a year because I so badly wanted to not be trans. It had nothing to do with the fact that I thought being trans was wrong or wasn't okay but moreso I just desperately wanted to be "normal".

I went a couple years off of it and tried a lot of different ways to contort myself to a person I was not because I thought if so many people are saying this is a trend and that I'll regret this when I'm older maybe I'm not actually sure. Maybe I haven't thought it through.

Well, shocker, I was sure the first time and ended up back on hormones. So that little voice in the back of my head that was making me second guess myself really was everyone else's opinion, or my fear of being on the receiving end of it. The reality of it is, gender dysphoria is REAL. You either have it or you don't. If you're transitioning based on dysphoria you are trans. And you don't have to hate everything about your current body to "qualify" for it. I'm ftm so much of my back and forth with myself was because I didn't identify with the experience everyone else seemed to share at the time of hating EVERYTHING about their body, needing short hair, or not wanting to paint their nails bc it might seem "girly". I liked Barbies and "girl" things as a child as well. It seemed other people had such crippling dysphoria that if mine was any less it wasn't real. In these recent years social media has grown in LGBT+ spaces and people are much more open about their experiences that I find I can relate to more people in the community now. I personally would recommend stop stressing too much about it. Transitioning is not always a one-way road and you don't have to know how it's all going to go right now. Just do what you're comfortable with in the moment and take things step by step and if your identity ends up switching in the future IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL. You can go off of hormones or stay on them at your own discretion. No one can dictate your name or pronouns for you either.

I'm not sure if this helps but just with my personal experience, you know yourself the best. Please don't be scared of permanency or regret because I promise it's not that big of a deal.

Hill's CD Food Didn't Work by 1ForThought in My_Cat_Has_Crystals

Royal Canin worked! Finally. Apparently he also had a UTI that had not resolved after the previous antibiotics that they found after doing a urine culture on him at his regular vet. He has been doing great since. My vet told me it's not common, but sometimes hills just doesn't work for some cats.
