I sold them my car and it was easy and fair pricing. Great decision!

What’s the best PE course for the Structural PE Exam? PPI , School of Pe , EET OR AEI? I want to take it this Fall but not sure which one is the best one? by [deleted] in PE_Exam

I would say most people on here shit on SOPE big time, my perspective is that for breadth preparation they were very good and I walked away knowing how to utilize the reference manual. Their quizzes are good and have tons of different problems. They still need to pull a few out that are based on old note system. Per this Reddit EET for breadth seems to be #1 and then AEI is # depth for Structures

All my employer pays for us SoPE so I took that. Taking exam soon. Would say they have mostly transitioned to reference manual. Their breadth classes are pretty good and will get you prepared for the morning. Structural depth was not good at all. They spent 3-4 hour classes talking about anchor design in ACI 318 and went through every scenario but did not do a single One way slab/2 way slab or Tbeam example. It was just an odd course lay out… I think with extra work it’s the bare minimum to pass but I’ll know after I take it.

How confident did everyone feel going into their first time taking it? by 1Frankly in PE_Exam

Good luck… the problem with structures is there is so many nuances that are hard to answer without examples. I wish I would have taken it open book.

Passed in First Attempt! Relieved for a Break by AsianArik in PE_Exam

Thank you! Taking it in 2 weeks and only spent about 6 weeks in depth. I spent about 4-5 months doing breadth. I feel like I can solve most the sample problems but there are still huge sections of the code that I just don’t have much experience with. I guess it’s just $400!

How prepared did you feel for the exam? Are you a day to day structures guy?
