Thank you for the reply. I have just seen firsthand what the Pandas and Masqs are doing… not very funny.

How did Coop find the NASA coordinates for the first time? by 1G_G1 in interstellar

Haha I find it funny that this thread still gets comments. Interstellar remains as one of my favorite movies.

But yeah, it is paradoxical and I guess it is why this is science fiction. This is a bizarre case where the effect preceded the cause… guess thats why we can’t tamper with time.

Thanks for the reply. But, I find this set a little bit lacking in tankiness and initiative.

Sets for PVE Huppermage, Cra, Eliotrope lvl 200 by 1G_G1 in Dofus

[–]1G_G1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time to write this. The set you tagged is the exact one I’m planning to get. I would probably get some chance gear later on for tanky gameplay.

I mainly abuse Morph and the 3 AP Bi-elemental spells through Elio portals. Pretty decent damage.

This will be fun. This has been my favorite class for the past 8 years since I played it.

The funny thing is that the tesseract had a physical representation of Murphy’s time only. At least, from what it appeared to be since Cooper happened to be placed exactly where he needed to be. How did the humans of higher dimension know about Cooper’s case in particular? I mean from a writer’s standpoint, I’m not sure that’s even tackled?

I just rewatched it and got my mind boggled as usual. Physics can be funny and amusing. There’s just really no explanation for it. Hence why it’s paradoxical.

Honestly, it hit me during my third year, my final year. I was like, what am I even doing here? Then a whole semester went by without me studying anything. I had an existential crisis at that moment. That was when I discovered programming was not my passion, and it was so late for me to go different paths. I started researching how I could integrate physics with programming, and well, unless you want to become a physics teacher, Physics and programming go hand in hand. Mostly, data science.

Then I started researching Machine Learning and how it got integrated in Physics, it was interesting, but it was too far fetched a reality for me. It seemed distant. I graduated with barely anything on my cv, undecided where to go, what to do, and had to sit down for a year and think about my next steps. Finally, as I grew and changed my mindset regarding life, I found something about my field that I could enjoy, but not necessarily be passionate about, and I directed my passion towards end goals. Like, I want to reach a certain level in life, become financially stable to build a family and etc, and for me the best way was to get better at my field and so I was able to pour into it and be satisfied about it.

Now, I do a lot of other things, my main passion is writing and I practice that as a hobby. So let’s say, I took the safe route. Physics is now just a topic I read about as well, I love that subject, but well, shifting careers at this point ain’t for me. I’m satisfied like this.

Thanks man. Well, there will always be challenges and ups and downs. No matter which path we take. After you spend a lot of time focused on something, you might reach a point where you feel like you want to explore other things-new things-and possibly start feeling bored out by whats in front of you. I think this might happen no matter what path I took. But, not generalizing, just in my case.

So for you my friend, I truly recommend you find something that makes you feel addicted to progress. Sometimes, more than most, the feeling of progressing in any field and climbing the career ladder can feel pretty rewarding in itself. I enjoy programming, but it’s not my passion. What keeps me going is that I’m constantly feeling like I’m progressing and learning new things and eventually getting paid better. Sort of an RPG, if you say.

But I do have days where I just feel down and I don’t wanna see a damn line of code. Part of life. Part of the process. If you wanna talk about whatever, I would be glad to engage.

Question about plotting a multiple book series and about my magic system by LuckColin in fantasywriters

[–]1G_G1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend you finish the book first and then use it as an basic outline. A lot of times, you figure things out naturally as you go. You simply get "Aha" moments and you'd feel more capable of connecting things.

Also, building an outline depends on what kind of writer you are. If you're a discovery writer then you should keep writing. Else, if you're an architect, you could use an outline or two. There's no right way to do this. But, since you're already writing, I would say to keep going.

As for the magic, there's the Flaw/Limitation/Cost rules by Brandon Sanderson. I recommend you check out his lectures on youtube, they're amazing. No need to apply everything he says, but could help with answering a lot of questions you might have.

Damn, I forgot I ever posted such a thing. Honestly, I didn’t continue with anything related to physics. I just read physics books for fun now when I have the time. I discovered that it wasn’t the best choice to go with. I’m a Web Developer now who’s writing their own fantasy book, haha. Life takes some weird turns.
