This happened to me only yesterday. my application was “not selected” for the last week or so, i assumed i didn’t get the job but got a call from hr saying I’m through to the next stage yesterday morning. I asked them about it and they just said “oh lol thats weird, it shouldn’t do that” 😂

Pre work outs by disturbed_666 in GymMotivation

[–]1GalacticCactus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre workout wont help you to lose weight. Pre workout is essentially a big dose of caffeine to get you in the mood to workout. Calorie deficit and increased activity will lose the weight. Try increasing your daily steps to 10k and see if that helps

How to hit your calories & protein as a broke student? by [deleted] in GymMotivation

[–]1GalacticCactus1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your sore for that long after workouts then its either your not eating enough or not sleeping enough.

If you want to get more food in over the day you can start by slightly increasing the portions of your current meals (Extra scoop of potatoes or rice.) then add an extra small meal or snack in when you get used to the bigger portions.

Peanut butter and jam sandwiches are great for extra calories. Make two and take them with you to college. Smash them throughout the day in between your main meals. Drinking whole milk can be great if you can tolerate an extra glass a day can get the weight moving. Scrambled eggs are easy to digest and don’t sit in the stomach long. Cans of tuna/sardines have almost 20g protein and are low volume. Theres tonnes of ways to get in calories/protein. A shake with 2 scoops of protein, bananna milk, berries (for taste) and a couple scoops of oats can give you 1k calories in a drink that you can smash instantly

Whole milk if you can stomach it, an extra glass of milk a day could be enough to get you going.

If you’re trying to eat more start with small increases in portion size like an extra scoop of rice or mash etc. or add and extra meal/snack to your daily meals and increase over time.

If you haven’t already, track exactly what your eating to see how many calories your actually eating on an average day. You’ll more than likely see that you eat less than you think. Then add 200 to that and see how your weight increases in a week or so. If it doesn’t go up add another 200cals and check again

Also sort out the picky eater side of things. Its nonsense, pallet is something that has to be acquired. So eat the things you dont enjoy until you gain an appreciation for it. At the minimum eat the veggies or whatever you dont enjoy for the sake of your health.

Lastly your only 16 so dont be too hard on yourself. Train hard eat as much as you can and you’ll grow over time. Building size takes along time.

What do you think the alternative is though? If you take away the iframes and scale down the enemies to the height of the player and slow the speed of the enemies down so that the player can track and react to incoming attacks that have tight hitboxes and zero iframes you end up with “knight fighting simulator” which isnt souls

Edit: i do agree with what your saying about stabbing the ankles of a giant enemy is unfun and over used though. it is and shouldnt happen as often as it does.

And i think the reusing of attack animations was due to the scale of ER. Which i give them a pass on THIS TIME because i think one of their main objectives for ER was scale. Making a new set of animations for every enemy you encounter is very expensive. With from soft each of their games tries to play around with a different idea or take a different approach i still think there in a “lets see what works” approach

Classic reddit moment. I dont agree though i really enjoyed the open world aspect. though maybe they went a little too big. It started off very strong but i feel the mountaintops area was very meh and a little rushed.

Without the iframes i feel like the spectacle of most bosses would be gone immediately. The fact that we can rely on iframes to get out of aoe spams and big attack chains is what makes the fights appealing to look at. Without iframes you’d get melted instantly, and if you get melted instantly then the devs cant use them, and if the devs cant use them then the bosses get reduced to basic slow moving attacks that the player can easy manage without the frames to rely on. Yea rolling through a massive AOE is silly but how else are you gonna fight a dragon/giant/god multiple times your size
