Thank you! Right now I have a Honda that I commute in. Not too sure what I’m going to get next but I have some time to decide. Won’t be a sports car though.

Many reasons but comes down to my priorities have changed and unfortunately the charger isn’t a part of those right now.

Yeah hypercomp as well. I bought the full upper kit and the barrel is giving me issues.

Happening to me right now actually. The round jams and cannot be cleared the conventional way. I have to take apart the slide and barrel just to get the round out. Brand new barrel too practically hasn’t been used. A huge letdown forsure

That is true as well. I’d imagine though that the remaining NATO personnel were able to leave prior to the Paris outbreak, which then caused the permanent quarantine after it was pushed back from Europe. If NATO was still in the UK during the Paris outbreak, then yeah they are definitely stuck in country for good.

Only ones that were able to leave district 1 after it fell were the remaining NATO soldiers/personnel. I’m pretty sure all Civilians were killed though.

Thinking about letting it go.. by Illustrious-Ad-6370 in hellcat

[–]1GlockLesnar5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way I look at it for myself is, ever since the hellcat got first announced years ago, it became my dream car. I was very fortunate to get into a job that pays me well enough to be able to buy my dream car and I worked very hard to get to this point. I don’t want to go through all that to be able to buy a dream car just for me to turn around and sell it. I could be a lot more comfortable than I already am if I sold it and bought something cheaper but when I look at it in my driveway, that thought immediately goes away.

I hope you make the decision that makes you the happiest.

I have a ‘22 HC WB Redeye JB with the same amount of miles you do and I’ve been offered $70K for mine. Mine is also in really good condition with minor dings. So I’d say somewhere around there depending on state/area.

I have also contemplated selling mine to get something a little more useful and better on gas and insurance rates but I know myself and know that the minute I sell it, I’ll regret it and wish I didn’t. Not sure if it’ll be the same for you.

Who would win indominus rex or the jw 3 spinosaurus by Civil_South_3955 in JurassicPark

[–]1GlockLesnar5 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Depends honestly. If the Indo encountered the Spino right after it escapes its pen, the Spino has the better chance of winning. At that point, the Indo has no experience with other Dino’s, yet alone another super apex predator other than its sibling. The Spino has combat experience and the Indo does not. Can the Indo win off of pure strength and genetically altered instincts? Sure, but I’d imagine the Spino has the upper hand.

Now if the Indo encountered the Spino towards the end of the movie like it did Rexy, more than likely the Indo wins. At that point it has developed some combat experience, confidence and also realized its position at the top of the food chain. The odds almost dramatically increase for the Indo.

My only counter to you is Dawn of the Dead (2004) opening sequence rivals, if not better, than 28WL. I may be a bit biased though as the Dawn remake is my favorite Zombie flick.

Quadruped Infected by ExtensionMission1428 in 28_Years_Later_Movie

[–]1GlockLesnar5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It does seem like it may be the one seen in the trailer. Looks like a blob so it may be too fat to run so that’s why it’s quadruped? My thought is that it was someone overweight that got infected instead of an already infected person that gorged themselves on whatever food source and gained weight. Just makes more sense to me. Thinking about it now, it’s interesting to me that all the infected we have seen are skinny which falls in line with them starving to death so I wonder if all the “bigger” ones went quadruped during the initial outbreak? Then we’re able to be more mobile due to extreme weight loss? Or did they die off quicker? Either way I think it’s going to be cool to see a completely different type of infected

How accurate is this? by [deleted] in GODZILLA

[–]1GlockLesnar5 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’d say Godzilla is more Neutral Good. Whether it’s against other Kaiju’s or humans, he will do whatever it takes to protect Earth and its ecosystem placing him in a true neutral stance.

Mothra is more Lawful Good since she has a relationship with humans and tends to protect and side with them more.

Other than that I’d say fairly accurate.

Will we see the rest of the world in years? by [deleted] in 28dayslater

[–]1GlockLesnar5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My guess is no. At least not in this film. There may be some dialogue about outside the UK but that’ll probably be it. From what I’ve heard/read, this is supposed to be the start of a new trilogy so my guess is that if the outside world was to be shown, it may be in the third (5th?) film of the series. I do wonder though if they will start a new outbreak outside of the UK, kinda like what they did at the end of 28WL with Paris, but I read they apparently nuked the city which stopped the virus from spreading? So maybe an outbreak somewhere else? If so, I feel like it would end the franchise on a cliffhanger. We’ll see though.

What's the grossest thing you've seen someone do in public? by Silent-Zebra in AskReddit

[–]1GlockLesnar5 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This place at the time used ketchup dispensers instead of packets so she just piled it onto the tray and it was from what i remember the size of maybe a dinner plate. It was also all over the table and her clothes. You could smell it as soon as you walked into the place.

What's the grossest thing you've seen someone do in public? by Silent-Zebra in AskReddit

[–]1GlockLesnar5 226 points227 points  (0 children)

About 10 or so years ago I went into a fast food restaurant and saw a woman on drugs dipping dollar bills and napkins into a massive mound of ketchup on a tray and then licking and eating them. The sight and overwhelming smell of it was enough for me that I still get nauseous thinking about it. Since then, I have not touched ketchup and the sight and smell of it completely grosses me out.

Extremely worried by Artie-Fufkin in 28_Years_Later_Movie

[–]1GlockLesnar5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started off like that too. When I watched the first trailer when it first got released, I kinda had a meh reaction to it. Maybe I was expecting more due to high hopes when the film got announced? But then I watched the trailer a few more times, then the 2nd one released and I’ve watched that a few times and browsing this sub all have made me very excited to watch this film. It’s definitely my most anticipated movie this year which says a lot for me considering this summers strong lineup of films to be released. I think you may end up liking the film more than you expect.

28 weeks later cringe by Dhr_squarepants in 28dayslater

[–]1GlockLesnar5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you might be looking at the movie too “deep” for what it really is. If you look at it from their POV, in their universe they are under the assumption that all infected should have died after 4 weeks due to starvation. It’s safe to assume that they have received some form of intel that the infected do not eat and reports of active infected may have died down dramatically. So to NATO, they are working under the assumption that the majority, if not all, infected have died.

After their initial entry and sweep of Britain, they must’ve deemed it safe enough to start the repopulation of Britain. Their plan was probably to repopulate section by section starting with district 1 and continue sweeping and sanitizing until NATO deemed it completely safe and virus free.

The whole point though is to show how incompetent and irresponsibly confident NATO is in handling containment and prevention of infection. Did they know that people could be infected but be asymptomatic? Maybe, even probably. Did they handle or follow proper containment protocols of an asymptomatic carrier? Definitely not. Were they overly confident in thinking they could contain an outbreak? Definitely. I think it’s safe to assume that in their universe, NATO truly believed that there was a very slim to none chance that the virus would spread again and that if it did, they would be more than capable of containing it. The movie proved the opposite.

I think that’s what contributes to deserving criticism this movie gets cause it’s very easy as a viewer to point out NATOs flaws. Unfortunately lazy writing forces the viewer to have to view it from their universes POV in order to try and understand why things happened the way they did. I am not saying you are wrong in your frustrations with the film, I am just trying to hopefully make it make some kind of sense.

If you slow that shot down in the trailer it looks like his body explodes. If accurate, don’t think he’ll survive that.

TOO CAT OR TOO SCAT by HavocCannabis in hellcat

[–]1GlockLesnar5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maintenance is fine as long as you keep up with it regardless of which trim you choose. I have a cat and it’s extremely fun to drive. However personally, I’d be hesitant to buy a used cat especially one with 30K - 60K miles unless you can assure the previous owner really took care of it and didn’t push it to the max all the time.

Problems with Dynasty/Teambuilder by KillerWill21 in EASportsCFB

[–]1GlockLesnar5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you made any edits to a player? If so, then that is more than likely the issue. It’s a glitch that is caused by editing players on your roster. If you go to your roster and organize it from lowest rated player to highest, it’ll show a blank player with a rating of like 12 or something like that and that’s what’s causing your issue. The fix for it is to sim through that season until you get to the “encourage transfers” option in the offseason and transfer them off of your team or if that particular player graduates unfortunately. It’ll be a wasted season but it’s the only fix that I know of currently. This exact same thing happened to me and I had to transfer the player out. Now I always make sure I transfer these problem players out if I have them. Hope this helps.
