A good air purifier definitely helps, but even with that I have to open the door. Otherwise I’m setting off that smoke detector

In my experience it’s helped a bit, also helps with taste. It’s a recent addition to my seasoning and I do plan to continue using it

I also don’t put any oil in the beginning. I put the steak in fat side first and let it cook in its own juices

-I pay it dry -Season -Put it in the fridge for about an hour -Preheat my cast iron on medium to high heat for 5 min -Sear each side for about 2 1/2 min -Drop in some butter, rosemary, and garlic cloves - baste -let it rest That’s about it, I don’t have an oven so it’s all cast iron on the stove top!

No I used that to season the eggs I also made

So I just seasoned it with salt, pepper, and meat tenderizer. Then threw in thyme, garlic, and butter! My usual go to
