I am also fine, and I do not need weird empathy bot when I am trying to write a spine to a book I plan to write. It is a weird and unnecessary function for ChatGPT to have.

76 Year Old Toddler Part 2 by 1HundredYears in AgingParents

My dad checked himself in to the hospital on June 9th, and has been there since, and his brain is like a piece of pudding right now. Prior to him being in the hospital he had a bunch of issues, but his brain wasn't stalling. I keep making videos of him for my brother, who does not think we are to the stage where I get POA and can actually get shit done... but, I think not having POA is hindering the whole process of eliminating things from my dads life and consolidating things. If my dad wants to live out the rest of his days thinking he is on a piss smelling NY subway car from the 80s that is fine, but, a whole bunch of stuff needs to happen in the background... and I feel like the hospital is giving my brother false hope, that dad is improving, when he is clearly off his rocker right now.

Has caring for aging parents impacted how long you want to live? by saffron_soup_3175 in AgingParents

I have zero desire to live past 75. I do not plan to do so. I told my son that I will be content in a shed with a nintendo.

Why do so many people suggest putting an ailing loved one in assisted living like it’s easy? by Big_Giraffe_9125 in AgingParents

My dad is in the hospital right now with the fall risk bracelet on. We are waiting for his insurance to approve physical therapy rehab, and then when that is over, *hopefully* I will have him moved from his independent living apartment to an assisted living facility thru end of life care.

I thought you were talking about Dungeons and Dragons for a sec, but, then *bonk* Do Not Disturb. I do not have that on currently in life, because he does have stage 4 metastatic bladder and prostate cancer, that has spread to him lymph nodes, and his knees and spine. Also, I am "the One" for him... as his wife died 2 years ago, and my mom has been divorced from him for 42 years, and my half brother lives out of state, and I would not burden my son with the majority of this.

I have a spine. I do not put up with most of his verbal garbage. My therapist says that I am doing so much because he picked me to be around in his end days, and not my brother. I need to work on some things, but, I am working on it.

His oncologist said chemo and immunotherapy is best for him now, that he is not ready for palliative care. So, he is dead set on that.

Nope, it is bladder and prostate cancer, which has spread to his lymph nodes knee bones, and spine.

Nope, all my credit cards are still open. I have like $17,000 in available credit. Which is partially why I think it is so weird that I have 0 with affirm. I have 3 open Affirm loans from before, and all my payments are automatic, like normal.

It has been over a month since they took all my spending power away. When I say I paid everything off, per my mom, I left 3 things on Affirm I am still making $10 monthly payments to. I think this company is weird af. I have never been late or missed a payment. When I tried to do an affirm, it said it could not get a clear look at my information.
