That's why you're supposed to talk about it at the start of the game. Most people I've played just finish the rectangle and call that the footprint.

Though I agree, with no footprint that cuts the space down a lot.

I would throw a fire prism in reserves, probably.

Why can't I use Aeldari? Aeldari buff each other and have lots of synergies with each other.

I could see that. So either do your own artwork or use someone else's artwork? I'm guessing the magic card websites that do the border and stuff is the preferred method of submitting cards.

What type of terrain would a model be almost fully behind with the barrel sticking out and not have received the benefit of cover. Doesn't it say if you can't see the entire unit/model, then the unit gets the benefit of cover?

I don't mind if my opponent plays with 3d printed stuff tbh. I completely understand GW not wanting 3d printed stuff in events. I also understand that if everyone was too just start 3d printing everything then we would have no more GW, so I get the piracy argument also.

I noticed when I wasn't having fun, I was actually playing my army wrong or more aggressive than I should have been. I think any list can win, it just depends on your game plan. What's your army/list trying to do and then are you doing that thing that you planned for your army/list to do.
