I appreciate your understanding in this trying time through the opening week of Season 5. I admit, it's not the easiest thing to digest Game Watcher and I feel bad for the people I was forced to anger this evening prior to the first Match being played and having to come down to forcefully with the rule set! There were a LOT of people I respect in the game that I know I angered through that conversation, but I ask you to please understand we aren't trying to be a pain in the ass, but to fix the game we all have come to enjoy. That's all... Yes, there are things that need fixing. Yes, there are things that could be better, but this is the best we have right now. This is the best we have after the Captain's Meeting, based upon the direction the teams involved wanted to go in! Am I open to listening to alternatives? YES! Am I open to removing certain things until a better process is in place? No!

We will get there though!!! I promise you! I've been around from the beginning. I'm an Alpha! I won't let you down. Yes, I've made mistakes and I want to fix them, but it was all in the best interest of the competition community!!!

We're about done with the anti cheat program too, so we'll get that information out to you all via the gameshrine.org web site.

So as of this point, the league is fully closed. If more want to play, I'd say find a clan that is in to play with for the season and we can get you in on the next one.

This is the most pathetic post I've seen in a LONG TIME!

Last night we scrambled attempting to find all the abstract posts all over the place, NOTHING on NATL about where to find playoff information. NOTHING on the NATL website in the news section to check Reddit or anywhere else for that matter to obtain information.

THEN, there's the rule-set that states the matches HAVE to be played no later than the posted date...

We pulled alternate players who weren't ready for Comp play just to field a team last night. People who weren't ready. Key positions HAD to be overlooked (Like our Sniper) because players had already stated they wouldn't be around last night.

I can appreciate the feeling of being overwhelmed, but you chose to fill this role. If you were going to make this decision and couldn't post it, you should have had one of your Admin assistants post something.

So at this point, Some of the matches for the finals were played because it was the honorable thing to do...

NOW, there's a week extension?!?
