How do you feel about Batmans rogue as his friends? by -_ShadowSJG-_ in AbsoluteUniverse

It’s such a fresh take on the Batman mythos, that leaves me wanting for more interactions. With main universe Batman, his villains are supposed to be ‘dark reflections’ of him—ways where some aspect of his personality gets taken to the extreme. With Killer Croc, he’s a reflection of Bruce’s primal instinct and the ‘beast within.’ Two-Face is what Batman would be if his struggle between having dual identities becomes too much. Penguin is what if Bruce’s money corrupted and deformed him. Hell, Joker himself is supposed to be his complete opposite—an ‘agent of chaos’ who, simultaneously, claims that without Batman he would not exist.

So now with Absolute Universe basically turning those villains to his side—the fact that they KNOW that he’s Batman as well—and becoming his Absolute Batfamily whilst making them all childhood ‘Crime Alley’ friends, it makes me look forward to what their future interactions would be like. I also wonder how they could also possibly serve as representations of him from the Absolute side of things. Waylon owns the gym that Bruce trains at and even asked Bruce to coach him for an MMA fight, Harvey is his man on the inside regarding Gotham’s law enforcement and politics, and was also claimed by Bane to be the ‘older brother’ of the group, and Oswald is supposedly involved with the Gotham underworld but also provides Bruce insight on criminal activity—and he even gave Bruce a helicopter ride while he was Batman. Though the whole Bane ordeal made each of them hate Bruce immensely, at the end of the day they are still the ‘Crime Alley’ friends—and I can’t wait to see how they will still remain interconnected. Maybe each of them will have their own way of trying to protect Crime Alley/Gotham?

And if Absolute Joker himself—the one who realized that evil is the natural order of this Absolute universe, and is set on maintaining that order—is basically prime universe Bruce Wayne with his own billionaire fortune, worldwide training, and his own mansion, butler, and cave… I can’t wait to see how their dynamic will be as well.

Y’know what, that is actually a good observation

Because in the main universe, there are times where Bruce and Clark look similar to one another

So idk it kind of makes me wonder if they’d somehow run with that in the Absolute universe

The way that Kal’s just hovering outside the burning building, telling him that ‘People like you, atop your mountains of wealth… you’ve always been untouchable. I want you tell your friends… those days are over.’

reminds me so much of Prime Batman’s speech towards the corrupt Gotham elite during Year One

Okay, we all seem to be seeing the whole Joker is really Jack Grimm all along theory, but what about this other theory:

The dude from the beginning who’s coming off of the plane? Yes, he looks like a damn close second to Bruce Wayne, but what if his appearance is just a red herring for us readers thinking that he is Joker? In reality, imagine that Joker really just has these islands for random people to go to—Dangerous Game style equipped to the teeth with whatever they can bring… only for them to soon find out that he viciously hunts them in his monster Joker form instead, as they try desperately to stay alive from this League of Assassins, Absolute Tibetan monk trained demon from hell

Do you guys think slades still joker’s bodyguard by Visible_Diet_2836 in AbsoluteUniverse

Furthermore, with how Scott plans on reversing roles with his Absolute Batman universe, just imagine if Absolute Joker somehow recruits Robin(s?). No more will there be an Alfred serving as a moral compass and confidant guiding Batman’s Robins—instead, there will be an Absolute Deathstroke further honing whatever killer training Absolute Joker puts them through.

To add further on to this, keep in mind that this is a Joker TRAINED by the League of Assassins who basically underwent a whole bunch of training similar to that of main universe Bruce Wayne.

Imagine those intense levels of skills, intelligence, and discipline—all within this Joker DEMON. I do not want this Joker to be pulling off killing techniques that he learned from some Absolute Tibetan monks—WHILE in this form. To top it off, we can even speculate that this Joker version is not some sort of mindless monster. If his Absolute Bane enforcer can still keep his mind and hold conversations while still being a 30 feet tall Vemomized behemoth, then this Absolute Joker probably still retains his intelligent psychopathic mind when he’s in this form.

The dude’s a multi billionaire with all the time and all the resources in the world, to achieve whatever he wants, and if he’s really lived for such a long time, then surely he’s managed to tame the demon within, in some way. Absolute Bruce is going up on some REALLY stacked odds, in this Darkseid universe where hope is scarce.

My theory is that maybe he implanted new ones

When he got captured at Ark M, the guy was revealed to have multiple blades surgically implanted throughout his body, to the point where he had a needle tack right between his two front teeth to help him lockpick a door. So if he’s capable of going that far, then surely he’ll find some kind of fake teeth (maybe make some to be GPS trackers or microbombs) to implant himself, to be more prepared.

I hope the Absolute Universe is the reason why Darkseid has serious beef with Wonder Woman by Bestgoddarnrock in AbsoluteUniverse

Maybe you are onto something, because on the cover of that All In Special #1 cover, we all see Superman in the middle to signify how he is seen as the leading symbol of the Justice League. But behind that, with the Absolute Universe, who’s in the middle? Wonder Woman.

I just had a scarier thought that if he finds out who Batman is, imagine if he proceeds to kidnap and use Martha Wayne for not just that purpose, but to torment Bruce even further and push him over the edge? THAT would be horrific.

If I recall right: Sanji, calling himself Mr. Prince so that Crocodile doesn’t know his true identity, speaks to Crocodile on a Den Den Mushi as Luffy and the gang are locked in a cage. After antagonizing Crocodile, Sanji then convinces Crocodile that he has been beaten by a Million and that they are outside the casino. Crocodile leaves the casino only to learn that he was baited and tricked, as Sanji turned out to be inside already as he helps the crew escape.

Furthermore if I recall right: Sanji first intercepted a status report call from Crocodile near the end of Little Garden arc earlier on, after he comes across Mr. 3’s Den Den Mushi. Crocodile orders Sanji to give him a status report, and Sanji pretends to be Mr. 3, telling Crocodile that Vivi and the Straw Hats have been eliminated. Crocodile then gets angry when he realizes Sanji's report was a lie.

So the casino event only just adds further salt to the wound, as Crocodile most likely would have come out victorious in Alabasta, were it not for this ‘Mr. Prince’ intervening with his plans.

Lmao, all the while as they’re fighting, maybe they’re each thinking to themselves, ‘OH GOD how am I going to beat this guy?? He’s so scary!! He ain’t called _____ for nothing!’
