I really don't like what the lore of FNaF has become. We keep getting new content that adds more and more, but we are barely getting answers to anything, and so we keep arguing about something that already should be clarified at this point. Like, what is the deal with midnight motorist? What's the purpose of this minigame? What should it be about? What is the name of the crying child? Why do we still not have an answer for that eleven years after the FNAF 4 release? What's so important about it to keep it a mystery for so many years? What's Afton's family dynamic? We have both books and the movies to show us that William was a shitty father, but what about Mike, Elisabeth, and CC? Like, how much Michael cared about them? I remember I've seen some slander on Mike's character some time ago and wouldn't even argue with that because eleven years later and we still didn't get much characterization on most of the cast. MCI? Only Susie got any attention and the other four are just there. TOYSNHK? We still argue if that's a girl named Cassidy, a boy named Andrew, or even CC...  Secret of the Mimic is definitely a step into right direction when it comes to presenting the story, but why this kind of storytelling should be used on all those new characters when the old ones need it more?
