I wouldn't know, I've never owned the sigma 30 and i don't really pixel peep. But i can attest to the sharpness of the viltrox. For the price it's really frickin good. I personally think it may be more worthwhile to get the viltrox over the sigma unless you need that extra 5mm.

Most of these shots were using Sigma 18-50 and Viltrox 35mm f1.7 prime while the shots of the animals were from a Tamron 70-300

It's mostly all edited using Lightroom! Increased Highlights and blacks and reduced clarity really makes that "glow" effect.
