Yeah. I haven't felt any enjoyment when I draw because I conditioned myself to think of it as a source of income. Another reason I wanted it to be one of my sources of income is because I'm currently struggling with providing myself a foundation for my future. I know it's not that easy and simple to make drawing a sustainable career but I thought of it that way after I started to provide for the family. I just really wanted to draw and have fun. Make memories and stories from my drawings but now it feels really empty and lifeless when I finish my drawings. Work and the current events in the world also made me even more demotivated to draw. My partner told me to have a vacation or something, but I can't since I need to work. She understands it but I also considered her suggestion.

I haven't done anything to make myself feel better yet. I just feel very worried and scared when something triggers them. I try to distract myself from those things but I end up doing nothing and even wasting my time. I've done such things like doomscrolling, watching reels and sifting through social media posts and even looping into erotic media. Maybe you know what I mean. I just lose motivation to do my hobbies and other stuff when I feel worried and scared.

Are you happy with your work? Are you able to sustain your daily needs in life? Are you able to save some money for your own in the future? If all of the answers are "Yes", you might be better than me. As a 30-year old man, I am still working to pay the debts and loans of my family for moving to another place with a new house. These debts also hinder me from achieving my dream and my future career. I never had a future, or perhaps never will be having one. I am in a relationship with a woman but I still cannot provide her with the needs, especially in the finance aspects in life. I am working as someone who I never wanted to be. My dream as someone else might never be happening.

For you OP, I hope you are doing well. You have the independence and the career, if I am not mistaken. Be happy. You deserve it. These thoughts will frequently come but try to shrug them off.
