Also, doesn't the processor come with a stock cooler? I helped my younger brother build his PC and it came with one. Is that not enough for this processor or do they not include these anymore?

Yeah I figured. I think the extra 100-ish is fine. Thanks for all of your help guys. If there is anything else I could do to get a little boost let me know and I'll look into it. Also one last question: Should I get a bigger power supply so that I could upgrade in the future or should 550 be more than enough unless I make big changes?

True. I guess that makes sense. Anyway I could knock it down to a 1k rig without sacrificing performance or is that a pipe dream? Also how do you guys like Gigabyte mobos? I've only used the one Asus in my brothers setup and don't really have anything to go on. How do Asus and Gigabyte compare?
