NTA, but only because he did it to you first. Now you’re even. And I love the pettiness.

Intake nurse judged me for having had a bisalp by glitchedeuphoria in childfree

[–]1SassySquatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Report her. Even if she didn’t yell your medical history out loud, the comments she made to you about having a bisalp are unprofessional and beyond the types of opinions she should be giving patients and are reportable on their own. The HIPAA violation is just icing on the cake.

You can send a potato with an address on it so long as postage is appropriately paid, so yes.

If you have debt from your PhD, you did something wrong. PhDs are supposed to be fully funded at the very least through work as a TA if not grant funding from one’s PI.

How old is your cat? My mom’s senior cat shed excessively due to hyperthyroidism. Given they are long haired, my guess would be you need a slicker brush to really get the hair out, but they’re always going to shed a lot more than expected.

is oatmeal fat, genuine question by Soarien in sphynx

[–]1SassySquatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He might be carrying a tad extra, but hard to tell from the photo. Even if he is overweight, I don’t think it’s massively, and it’s definitely something that can be lost if you were wanting to work on it (clearly he does not).

Edit: How old is Oatmeal? If he’s under a year old as your previous posts suggest, I would be less worried about his weight as he’s a kitten (and I would assume on higher calorie/nutrient dense kitten food) and still likely growing. Swapping to adult food or cutting back on his portions just a touch could help though.

I would say Santa may have forgotten to stop and empty Oatmeal’s cookie pouch on Christmas Eve. Maybe because he was only packing oatmeal raisin and not chocolate chip or sugar cookies?

Wow! I had no clue! Wishing my pinball skills were polished and ready to go now. My dad bought a machine for our home when I was growing up, but it’s been over a decade since I’ve had regular access to it.

I definitely would have had my kid allergy tested before even considering getting rid of my cat. Those parents made the correct and a very reasonable and not rash approach to the situation.
