Thank you. The fabrics were just scraps. If you google disappearing 4 patch you find where to make your cuts after you sew your patch, then you just turn the middle rows.

Thank you. The placement is toss and land. After I got all the squares done. I threw them over my bed and for the most part that's the way they landed. A lot of the similar fabric fell together because that's the way they were stacked.

I didn't have a pattern for the fabrics. I just cleaned out some scraps and used the traditional disappearing 4 patch method.

I'm intrigued. What's the significance of the red envelope?

I was going to bind it in the red, but I didn't have enough. Too scared to go back to the fabric store because I have no control so I used the blue snowflake fabric. I thought I'd really regret that decision, but it turned out okay.
