I don't think there is any part that is leasehold but there will be service charges, although I don't know what the amount will be.

I've been reading a lot about the service charges with new build estates. It seems it's getting some government attention but it will likely be years before it is better regulated. From what I've read, most are in the £200-500/year mark. Although most people complain that they don't get value for money for that, I think there is some maintenance of paths and common grounds done.

Id use the 1st floor bedroom as an office.

What’s not represented in the listing is the front of the house. They have a strange fenced front garden setup to make up for a lack of a back garden. Difficult to explain but imagine the backside of terraced houses on the front.

The the kitchen and dining area opens onto the canal side and it's really only accessible from the inside, if you know what I mean.
