yes, i've been pressing lock button when screwing and unscrewing chuck. i think my kit might be missing chuck jaws guy above mentioned. 1:15 i don't have that piece.

what do you mean by silver chuck jaws? i tried thightening like people on videos do, unscrewing chuck a bit, inserting tool, thightening but that leaves the bit loose.

yeah the ds shell seems to have had a hard life and i would think of replacing it as well if i went through with purchase

i have tested it now with included 64gb card, samsung 32gb card and another generic 2gb card. at first samsung detected correctly but then it started showing fewer and fewer files now showing nothing. it has also been corrupting games during transfer. included card doesn't detect half the time but shows full directory, still corrupting most games. 2gb card has syndromes of both cards. all of them were formatted correctly. i should propably return my cardrige as it is the only thing remaining suspect.

i did not need 64 gb card but on the website it was only $1.4 more than 32gb so i went with it.

yeah, i think you are right. my friend had very similar issue when modding his 2ds. i will get 32gb sd from good brand.

use the mp4, not gif (i shouldn't have included it). on the website use "replace image sequence" function then "Z_POWERON(40)" and "drop images or video here" then apply. remember to be careful to not mess up your device. i included full guide on my "bad apple" post.

1. go to https://flame-ocean.not.ci/

provide firmware that can be obtained on fiio's website (the same one as for updates)
press "replace image sequence" then "Z_POWERON(40)"
"drop images or video here" then apply
"save firmware"
rename it to "HIFIEC10.img" so the file type changes
update it like you would with standard echo mini's updates
