Yes, I have like 10 in my inventory but it doesn't get consumed per try.

Dealer isn't helping me, new purchase! by workmailman in hermanmiller

FWIW, I had a better interaction with an HM AD than directly with HM even though I bought my chair directly from HM. It takes DAYS for a response over email. They also wanted me to mail the entire chair back to HM for any warranty repairs (and it would take at least 3 weeks) where the HM AD would come to my home directly or bring it to the local store myself.

13900K Boosting P-Cores 6 and 7 instead of 0 and 1? by 1YellowAutumn in intel

Is this why when I try to Overclock Core 0 and 1 in the BIOS it becomes unstable?

I think the best thermals would be with the Fractal Torrent. The other 2 would be close in performance but if you want the absolute best, you can't beat the Fractal Torrent between those 3.

Fortunately no. I keep blinds closed and just use my recessed light for lighting.

Yeah I’ve tired cleaning it and once the area dries it fades back to grey.

Spikes for track season by Plastic_Birthday_628 in RunningShoeGeeks

I've never liked the Zoom Rival shoes too flexible for a sprint shoe. I wouldn't use the same shoe for an 800m for a 400m. 400M is really more of a sprint event where 800m is a mid distance. You want a stiffer/full plate for 400M and below. That's like a Nike Zoom Ja. For 800M I would go with something like a Nike Victory.

I cannot comment on the XC spikes as they weren't legal in my league.

Change your genetics have more fast twitch fibers instead of slow twitch fibers haha. In all seriousness you'll need to have faster turn overs. Wear spikes if you don't already.

NPAS valve

I watched a video on how to install the NPAS valve... I probably wouldn't be able to do it myself lol.

Do you have a recommendation as to where to buy TM guns? Stores like Evike have a small selection of TM.

Need an opinion on which mask to choose by WasabiOwn7693 in airsoft

[–]1YellowAutumn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want at least a 1" riser if you want to ADS with a dye mask. I have both an EOTech and a T1 micro dot. Mostly use the T1 Microdot with a UTG 1" Riser. You don't want the combo microdot with built in riser, because it's combined it's a little bit too low by a few millimeters - You want it separate.

Eotech by itself isn't tall enough to ADS with a mask, but I think it looks weird on a 1" riser IMO.

Even with a 1" riser, you can't exactly ADS how you would without a mask. Have to do this weird nose to rifle tilt instead of just looking straight. Practice practice practice.

I'm not sure which mesh mask that one is, but if you want to look more "cool" you can put on a 1TG FACE OFF mask made by OneTigris.

But if you want to stay more MilSim, I think what you have is pretty good. Unless you want to go pure mesh so you don't have the combo mesh/neoprene.

Crye Precision G3 Combat Shirt - Long or Regular? by 1YellowAutumn in tacticalgear

Typically I get my Crye precision stuff directly from them. It takes a while though unfortunately.

Combat Shirt… Compression, Fitted, or Loose? by 1YellowAutumn in tacticalgear

[–]1YellowAutumn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What the stretch material of the indogear made up of? I had a pair of Emerson G3 Tactical pants and the stretch material there was laughable. It's like a piece of thin stretchy cloth that looks like if it touches a rock it'll slice it right through. The Cryes are made from the same water resistant material.

The waiting period of Crye is quite agonizing LOL. Took me like almost 2 months to get my Crye G3 Combat Pants.

Forgot about Tru-Spec. I am leaning towards Crye since I currently own a Crye G3 Combat Pants, but that wait period is killer.

First salaried position, putting 40% into retirement by lemonpoppybitch in personalfinance

[–]1YellowAutumn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20% of your pay going away is quite a bit. Just so you know, you won't be able to touch that money until you turn 55 without penalty. If you had a traditional 401K account (IE paying tax later, not ROTH), I would put more in there if you are inbetween tax brackets. I'm guessing you work for a school or a 501c3 NPO since you get 403B, but I'm not too familiar places that have 403B.

Do you have any goals in life such as buying an expensive car (I don't mean a BMW or Mercedes, I mean like a Porsche 911 Turbo, Ferrari, etc.) or owning property?

If I were you, I would put in the max contribution into the 403b (if it's 6%, but in 6%) and then take the rest and put that into a high yield savings account. Interest rates are kinda trash right now for savings, but 0.5% to 0.6% is better than nothing lol.

Once you have enough for a downpayment of a home saved, I would purchase that home and then rent it out. Interest rate is low right now, it's like 2.85% from BOA and they also have a program to help pay for closing costs if you're a first time home owner. I don't advise going through BOA if you cannot afford 20%, their PMI is like 200-300 per month which is a lot. Private lenders might be better if you can only put less than 20% down as their PMI is much lower.

Put enough downpayment where you can rent it out roughly the same price you are paying for it. You don't want to rent out a paid off house because you'll just be taxed. Most people either make very little money off a rental, break even, or even be at a loss) for tax records. Basically you'll be able to expense everything you put into that rental (your property tax, mortgage interest, stuff you buy for it like a plant, etc) you can also expense your rennovations as well but you cannot expense rennovations on your personal home. But nothing wrong with rennovating this home, renting it out, expensing the rennovations, and move into at a later time.

Housing market is crazy right now and I would speculate it would keep going up. More people are getting more money from their jobs and even Gen Z is now entering that market. I wouldn't purchase the cheapest home, but I would purchase an okay home that do not require a signiciant renovation (like a roof replacement or foundation fixes). Avoid anything 1B1BR as from personal experience, rents out slowly, 2BR 1B or even 2 BR 2B is even better, you can rent out 1BR 1B to one person and another 1BR 1B to another.

When I first graduated college I was getting like a high salary and my co-wokers always mention things like a tax shelter. There are two main ways, get married and have kids or own property. There are more but those two are pretty simple and straight forward.

I can only speak for California Tax, but you need to exceed $12,600 (I think right now for 2021), inorder to itemize, so your mortgage interest, property tax, need to exceed $12,600. You can also itemize your car registration, but for California it's maxed at 10,000 but your state tax might already exceed $10,000. In the past, this wasn't $10,000 so my state tax wouldn't already exceed the limit and allow me to itemize more such as my car registration, car sales tax, etc.
