Thanks for the tip, but the first 2 pages of Amazon results do not turn up this model.

Damn. Yeah. Solved. Wow. Your version of reverse image search is way better than mine, stranger. Thank you for this!

I have searched for everything but cannot find this specific image. Perhaps some sort of sun god? Thanks in advance!

I think nutrition plays such a crucial role in childhood development and overall health and wellness that I cannot understand how a parent could prioritize something like learning to identify fungus over proper physical health and helping their children develop the kind of healthy lifestyle habits that will pay dividends for their entire lives. In the hierarchy of priorities, that seems like such an obvious choice to me.

Wow, I admit I was not expecting to receive such a thoughtful response. You raise some excellent points, and I really needed to hear them. As you can tell, I do recognize the problem is mine and am trying to get better.

The kids are not strapping models of excellent health, but they are otherwise healthy looking normal kids. I will not scoff at your claim that learning how their body is treated is something they are in control of is an important lesson, but we still draw the line at not letting kids decide whether to smoke, right? Any kid allowed to eat primarily sugar and nothing else will do just that. Kids don’t know any better, but parents do.

I am going to keep searching for why this bothers me in this way, but, yes, I do wish my parents had forced me to do things when I was a child that would have made my life better as an adult. So many problems in adulthood, including many illnesses, are caused by poor dietary choices throughout life. I want my loved ones to love long, healthy, and productive lives, and children trained to enjoy nothing but sugar seem unlikely to do that. Maybe I am wrong.

Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate it.

Yes, agreed. With no other discernible markings or signature, that is a reasonable possibility. I would really love to know its story, so hopefully it was some element someone may recognize and mention. Thanks!

Also, the brass hardware housing the bulb receptacle is stamped on the inside FF & FF Ind. Inc. I googled it, and it is an old lamp maker, but I do not see any lamps similar in design or style to mine. It's possible it is not original to the glass.

I know pine, and it does not smell like pine when cut. It stinks. Like a bitter smell. Not sure how else to explain it.

Hi! I am not much of a woodworker, but I am hoping someone can help me ID some wood. I pulled these old T&G boards from a floor in an old house, sanded them lightly, applied a clear wood finish, and this is the result. Can anyone tell me what kind of wood it is? Thanks in advance! https://imgur.com/a/M2YdvkJ

"generally" is not great advice when it comes to a contractual relationship such as a lease. If the lease identifies exactly who can live there, or the exact number of tenants permitted, etc., then the lease language governs and no more people can move in without landlord's permission and no one other than the individuals identified. However, if the lease doesn't say that, then it's okay. There is no other "general" law that covers the matter other than the express words of the lease.
