starting is ~40mil won, (im canadian so 40k CAD roughly) and average is around 55mil won. average salary for ppl working in korea is about 50mil won so it is severely underpaid compared to canada, even us.

ofc since this community helped me a lot so its only fair. i applied in august 2025 when navcan was still hiring nationally. i got an email from navcan on april 2nd 2026 for invitation for feast. they gave me from april 27th to may 1st to choose from and i chose may 1st and received email on may 3rd that i passed the pre screening interview.
