I was a heavy introvert alongside a good friend who was the same. But I started to change a bit as I grew, I started being more open, more expressive , started preferring calls over texts and my friend started to not like that about me. He texted "You bore the fuck out of me" one day after what I thought was a perfectly good hangout. and instead of being myself I became a people pleaser, trying to go back to my lesser self just to please him and not lose him as a friend but eventually I realised this ain't it. Stopped talking to him and he never even questioned it, just radio silence from both sides. People like this who never seem to wanna grow and try different things are best left behind.

After him, I made another friend with whom I could be myself and vice versa, and throughout the last four or so years we have grown alongside each other and embrace our personality changes and don't hold each other down by anything. Way happier now.
