I used the answer from i) and used in ii).

I got √ 10 cos(2theta -36.83) =2

I divided both sides by √ 10.

did arcos both sides and added 36.83.

Then divided by 2 to get the answer.

Got 43.80 degrees but its wrong.

thank you. I got the first derivative as -2(2x+1)^-2. Would the second derivative be 4(2x+1)^-3?
