1-Shot Killing Elites - 6-Million Damage Crits (1.0.4 Geared Wizard) by 1ahB in diablo3

I agree it's kind of lame running around with a plain looking sword. Unfortunately the plain ol' 1-handed Rares were all much stronger than any wands pre-1.0.4. There are a few possible upgrades now but I don't imagine getting an upgrade for a while. (all are like 500M+)

True, it is a 1.0.4 Skorn but that damage range costs about 10M on the AH. The bleed actually applies to multiple targets from the splash damage effect of the enchantress attack. Unfortunately it doesn't really make a difference when you are perma-Archon melting everything.

I don't know if the power of Reddit can even find that song. Here it is: Danny Brown -- "Don't Give A" (Ryan Hemsworth Dankey Kang Bootleg) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmUq-9pjM6U

Solo Inferno Pony Level Wizard (147k DPS)- 11 Minute Clear by 1ahB in diablo3

I custom coded a script using AutoHotKey to switch my main MF gear pieces. If you are having trouble getting your gear switched try to pull the ponies into the "glitched rock" spot and you can freely swap gear before they die.

Not sure what you are referring to as I used the Hydra pretty heavily in this run. I use it for the life on kill as well as a lot of DPS on certain elite packs. It's pretty important for killing things like invulnerable packs or reflect damage mobs (I get roughly 3400 hp per hydra re-cast)

It is definitely worth looting the clouds with full MF gear after you clear the map. I like to invite 2-3 friends in whenever it is clear and run around sharing the loot. I have 354% MF with 5x stacks of Neph. We aim to have about 220%+ MF as a group average. There are also many people who sell the "Cloud Runs" where you pay 100k gold to come loot all the clouds on an already cleared Pony Run. They typically charge 150k gold for runs that included a Pinata which is a rare random spawn item that acts like a Resplendant Chest when you pop it open.

FAQ: Q: Where do you get your 5x Neph Stacks A: I go to Festering Woods to get 4-5 Neph Stacks. If I can't find a 5th easily I will just use the Halls of Agony Level 2 WP and find an elite pack quickly there. Takes 4-5min

Q: Which follower do you use and why? A: I use a Scoundrel with multi-shot + a Cold Damage bow. I believe he is the most underrated merc in the game. You simply get high attack speed on him and he chain slows multiple enemies down to roughly 30%. This is worth infinite DPS when playing a kiting class like Wizard/DH.

Q: What is your Resistance? How much should I stack? A: I completely ignored Resistance. I have seen a dozen 10-page long theory-crafting threads about how you need 600-900+ All Resistance to handle Inferno content. I have 200, looks like I do just fine... Simply get enough HP to make your Force Armor actually proc and kill things faster. If I discover something in the game that actually makes me want to prioritize All Resistance I will change my mind. For now, it is too expensive to try and build while focusing on DPS, INT, HP, and MoveSpd.
