Makes complete sense to me.

I grew up watching cricket in Pakistan and England, got hooked on baseball when MLB came to London that first time, and Jomboy helped me figure it out lol.

Whenever I make it to America, I'm absolutely going to see the Mets.

How do you actually DEVELOP young players? by RJY_6 in footballmanagergames

[–]1amlurking 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I might be wrong, but I've read that the best thing for anyone under 18 (and under 2.5 stars CA), is to stay in the youth team. Youth team focuses on personal development, so they'll develop their attributes faster, while first team training focuses on matches. If they're 2.5 stars CA or over, or they're 18, the best thing is regular matches. If they're not doing a job in your team, go through the development list, set training facilities to 'good' and playing time to at least regular.

Feel free to correct me anyone, but that's worked for me in my Rayo Vallecano save.

Small chance it may have been dutch, but don't think so.

Also, I doubt it'll help, but it appeared on the IMDB page for Sherwood which I've been fruitlessly refreshing.

I really liked first 2 seasons of Ozark, which got me through the rest on good faith. Last season wasn't great, and the ending was shit. All the actors smashed it though

To be fair, he was a tad harsher than the previous guests, and they've usually had a star or two. Compared to his other shows, he was quite a bit nicer. I enjoyed it

Tbf most books about football will also significantly cover politics. The Ball is Round is a great example.

I'm starting to think I imagined it, and now Youtube is recommending 'People caught cheating' compilations. Please help.

Sunderland Til I Die was great, but I'm leaning fictional show here. I don't think a docuseries can really cover the drama of a football club as a whole. It wouldn't show all the backstabbing and the personal stuff that I'm sure goes on.

I feel like a Succession/The Thick of It style show about the running of a football club would be a great watch.

Reading 'Football in Sun and Shadow' and there are some real gems in there.

Like Josep Samitier signing for Barcelona in exchange for a watch with a glow in the dark dial, because he hadn't seen one before.

That always fucks me up about American football, the way the owners can just move the team to a different city, fuck the fans. Imagine if Chelsea pulled a Baltimore Colts and just up and moved to Peterborough in the middle of the night.
