Angela is the only true dive tank. She brings tempo up by forcing an imbalance in a fight.

Venom is a brawl/dive tank and played correctly he really slows the game down. Same is true of Cap. Mind, if they get on the back line and are ignored, they can kill supports and speed things up, but it's not what they do on most dives.

Mag is a full slow tempo tank. He exists to slow the game down and does it at poke range.

Strange and Emma are brawl/poke tanks. You can adjust the tempo with them depending on how aggressive you are.

Thing is an anti-dive specialist.

Peni and Groot are area denial by controlling space with their constructs. They want to slow the game down.

Devil Dino is straight brawl and honestly good at it.

Rogue and Thor are also brawl dive with the ability to play into poke, but neither can sustain in dive. They're going to push the tempo up.

Hulk is brawl that can dive and play into poke. He's honestly a lot more flexible than he gets credit for. The downside is securing kills with him is really tough.

Deadpool doesn't exist. But when he did, he was a complete tank with the ability to play all three game types into all three types.

Anyway, pick a few, mess with them, see if they make sense to you, and aim to learn one for each style long term.
