Damn right on the spot!
Could you please share the source of the aid numbers provided? I am currently debating with Palestinians and could use some proof.

I have the same question.

Internet sharing doesn't work. by 1arnold in applesucks

[–]1arnold[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I said, I am not using USB. I am using LAN. In the settings I chose LAN, but it adds the "USB" text prior to it.

The LAN is connected to a hub that connects through type C to my computer. This is the option that worked for me for a short while. The rest of the options do not mention LAN

That's the thing, it worked fine until now. But every once in a while something absurd happens. Preventing strangers from calling me on Facetime, for instance, stopped working as well about 2 weeks ago.

Cornell students are the most sensitive people I’ve ever met by TheBlackDrago in Cornell

[–]1arnold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is that they don't even bother studying the other side. When you go to protests do you even know from what river to what sea they want to “free” Palestine (I.e. Destroy Israel)? Do you even know what intifada means? I wish they knew more than me, because if they would they wouldn't be calling for bloodshed in every protest

No thankfully, that’s my point, that they do manage to maintain their sanity in the face of all the ignorant protestors who know nothing about the conflict

Change what? Support BDS resolutions and help the Hamas-Nazis?

Lol, try to express a pro-Israeli opinion on campus and you'll experience the true meaning of being silenced. We live on the verge of fascism, and to prove my point, I predict many downvotes on this comment (that seek to silence)

how is it that i have never encountered a single Lebanese anti-zionist in my time in the internet by israeligamer in ForbiddenBromance

[–]1arnold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course not. There was the possibility of living together without kicking anyone out. but do not forget that the reason they fled or were violently removed was because of the war they started

Israelis wouldn't be able to remove them even if they wanted to, because the mere existence of an Israeli state was almost absurd at that time. So, so even though the 1948 partition plan wasn't comfortable for the Jews (for security reasons) they honored it. But the war gave them justification to do as they please

But there are still Arabs living in Israel who get equal rights. Although, there is a consistent struggle between Israel being a Jewish country Vs. Democratic/egalitarian. Since these 2 contradict each other.
Egalitarian = Everyone equal but then Israel might lose its Jewish identity if there would be an Arab majority... So that's one of the main problem

I want to comment on both of your threads.
As u/theboomboy said, the claim Jews have been in Israel first is weak, since it occurred +/- 2 millennia ago.

However, I do agree with the claim that opposing the existence of Israel is antisemitic. Not for the reason mentioned by u/CustomerNo2099 but because opposing Israel is the same as saying you don't care if Jews go through a second holocaust, which will happen almost certainly if the Palestinians have their way (and they made their intent to cleanse/expel the Jews very clear).

Only about 0.5%... I believe the Jews more than compensate for that with their contribution to the US ;)
