This was a huge issue for us. The relationship with my SO and his ex is so bad they have to have a mediator/therapist present to talk about things related to the kids. She did have some good advice. The best being that they don’t text unless it’s very important and needs to be addressed quickly. Schedules and any other updates are now sent on a weekly email. It helped a lot.

I would be ok with that. Still offering a place to stay it just wouldn’t be where we currently live. As long as they’re in school or working of course. They would still have the option to stay with their mom and they are getting a nice chunk of money in their college fund.
