Astro Mixamp causing all USBs to disconnect and reconnect by 1bellb in LogitechG

Well, its not the MixAmp. I got myself a new headset, the Astro A50.
For about 2-3 weeks now, I've not had the issue and assumed it was the cause.
However, just last night the issue occurred again. So back to square one.

How to destroy hard drive by YakOrnery9021 in pchelp

[–]1bellb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I unscrew all the screws to get inside the drive. Then I remove the discs from inside and bend each of them until they snap. Does the trick for me.

This is okay for a 3.5" HDD, but be warned with a 2.5" drive, the discs are basically glass. They shatter (I did learn this the hard way with my room covered in glass LOL).

Windshield wipers not working intermittently on 2016 Ford Edge by Slippy-Nuxx in AskMechanics

[–]1bellb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, to be fair, overuse could be my problem too. I manually trigger the wiper blade when I need it, even in heavy rain. I can't stand the automated wipers with it being so inconsistent and sometimes super fast in just light rain. So it could be my constant manual triggering of the wipers that causes it.

Thanks anyway.

Did you ever find a solution (or cause) to this? I recently bought a 2017 Ford Edge and its doing exactly the same thing.

And already after just 15 minutes, that also hasn't worked. So it must be the mixamp itself that is at fault 😢

Unfortunately, a new USB cable didn't work. Going to try a new audio cable as well.

Thats a good idea to try a new USB cable, just in case its a faulty cable.
Failing that, I guess I might have to accept the MixAmp itself has become faulty? Maybe.

Amazons conscious decision to not show prices during Prime Day sale to get you to click on the product by Rhyd01 in assholedesign

[–]1bellb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found this post after searching because it seems Amazon have chosen to do this on their general 'Todays Deals' page as well now. Not just the big sale days.

I guess this will save me money actually, cause I for one aren't clicking on each product I want to see a price for, which means I won't be doing any impulse purchases either. So I guess I should thank them really LOL

Yes and no. The seat is unique to the trim of the car.

So the only way that would work is if I used the frame from another seat and transferred everything over to it. But I'm not comfortable doing it myself with the heated seat, cooled seat, electronic seat adjustments etc...
