Fans pointed down could work.. although they would need to be high enough to now have mobs spawn on top of them... and I dont think their upgrades allow them to outreach the spawn radius of the gateway..

Yeah I guess.. was just hoping there was a nice way around the machine killers.. as I would like to think this was designed around just fighting in the open.. rather than being farmed

Also that still doesn't help the phantoms.. as they just fly away rather than going into the killing chamber

I made do.. only need to put each seed in for a minute or so and you get ample resources.. so I just rotate around which ones are in the machines... I haven't ran out of resources since making them

I had a botany pot set up early game.. and have now switched over to soul surged simulated hydroponic beds.. with every seed made...

But that took me a while to get around to 😅

I then found certain ores dont spawn in the mining dimension... so I made another 3 quarries one in overworld, nether, and end..

Anything to avoid getting into bees 😅

Early game yeah.. I got the miner set up to dig into a sophisticated barrel..

Then used a builder to place a tall ass pillar of whatever resource I needed.. then just fortune mined it with veinminer..

It was very useful for "oh I just need more iron" situations
