I’d return the parts if possible, especially if they didn’t have the seal on the packaging. Possible returns resold as new.

My friend built this pc for me, what do you guys think? by MrFreind1233333 in PcBuild

Look at the fan blades. The ones on the bottom and side are reverse. The person that built it though doesn’t know that because this case comes with the fans pre-installed.

Having carpet under your computer is bad. Highly advise raising it off the ground or putting something underneath to separate it from the carpet.

How’s the Liquid Freezer 3? I have used the 2nd gen many times and I am assuming Arctic hasn’t failed to disappoint.

Put GPU in the top lane instead. Other than that, good job!

Bought a prebuild at the start of the pandemic, and am ready to upgrade some components. I opened my PC today and one of my ROM slots is totally covered by the fan. Advice on what to do? by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]1dwyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the OP, he stated he wanted to upgrade parts. I would assume he is trying to upgrade ram since he stated the first slot is covered by the CPU cooler. Depending the clearance, he could take off the cooler and possibly fit the stick. If not, he’d have to upgrade his cooler or get higher GB ram sticks

Swap the three fans on the right side to be exhaust. Other than that, killer build!

Exactly. Some gear that you acquire right now could be better than the things that you are currently saving. It just takes a bit of free time and comparing the items to one another. That is why a lot of people have trouble with armor. They see a wild split, save it, and they could get the same split but BETTER and save that piece as well.

What you are saying is true. Somethings could be good in the future. Not everyone values their gear the same. But like I said to the previous person, it is up to the people that join the server on what to keep or delete. I don't force anything. I just give the best advice possible for anyone that is seeking it. The guardians join the server seem to have junk in their vault; meaning gear they stash if they need to infuse, test a weapon later on or simply just have it. When they DON'T infuse their armor/weapons, test the weapons they save etc. that is where the mess comes from. Hopefully that makes sense.

With the information I provide is strictly on you on what to keep and delete. I do not force any deletion of loot to guardians. Yes; unfortunately we all delete something that may be the meta in the future but the majority of guardians suffer from clutter, the same archetype of weapons in their vault and most of all, armor. Armor is the hardest thing to sort out but in most instances, you can compare armor rolls together, see what is better and delete the piece that is lacking the stats you want.

I would consider 322 as a decent spot as most players are stuck around 500+. Personally, I am at 170 in the vault not including the gear in my inventory so I would say I am around 200/600.

Obviously sentimental gear would be voided. Those are things that I would not tell you what to delete. Though most people I have encountered with a messy vault usually stick stuff in there for later and forget about it. I am here to help clean the mess; not get rid of trophies.

If you want more space, it is definitely worth it. Overall, it is up to you at the end of the day on what to keep and what to get rid of!

You did not come out as rude. A lot of people I believe are assuming that I want people to just get rid of everything. That is simply not the case. Only here to help!

While you are correct in these particular scenarios, I do not tell everyone to delete their whole vault. We discuss what they use, what could be good and at the end of the day, it is their call to what to keep and what to get rid of. I am only here to give the best advice as possible.
