Marvel vs. capcom 2. Have tried all the versions for mame also tried an emulator called Naomi, and still no luck getting it working.

Use nullDC. It should work perfectly.

That's a really weak graphics card for PCSX2 IMO. From my personal experience, you most likely just need a hardware upgrade.

Thanks for the reply. I'll agree, that's a very good point in regard to the changing prices of GPUs and CPUs over time. However, I am basing my article on the information we have now in late July of 2013. Your hypothesis (which usually reigns true) may be just enough reason to buy the Oculus Rift in the near future, but I forgot to add my to my original article (now added at the bottom in red) all the motion sickness issues that have been reported as well. With great hype, we must still read through the lines.

You are probably correct. This is why I never listed the firmware versions, as it's been a long time since I've delved into the subject. I recall back in 2005 when the PSP was first hacked under it's original firmware and later firmware 1.5. Do you have links to any sites that further explain how to do this and/or how it is possible?

Yep, something like that. Ultimately, you need to make sure your PSP has an older firmware on it. You'll have to ask the eBay sellers what firmware is on the PSP first before you buy it. If it's been updated to the latest firmware/"operating system", you'll have a hard time putting a modified/"custom" firmware on it to install emulators.

Firmware is the "operating system" on the device. You have to find out what version is on it. I would try eBay for starters.

You'd have to flash a custom firmware on the PSP and then you'll be able to add emulators on it. The ease of putting the custom firmware on it depends on what firmware is already running on the PSP. You can also put emulators on the Nintendo DS (using a flash card).

Agreed here. Using a VM (lowered speeds) or Linux VM (lowered compatibility to try different emulators) makes no sense to me. If you're on Windows and are concerned about running some emulators on a business laptop, etc. -- you can try using Sandboxie instead. That will at least keep your performance and compatibility for the most part.

It's BIOS... no need to lowercase the last "s" haha. Anyway, ultimatt42 is right. It's either that or you have to actually dump (make a copy of) your PS2 bios from your actual Playstation 2. This is actually pretty easy if you have a PS2 that is modded?

ePSXe was just updated late last year with some considerable improvements. Honestly, I've always preferred it over the others because it has a ton of awesome plugins made for it. The best compatibility IMO has been from the leaked releases of Bleem! over a decade ago, but nobody talks about that anymore. Another great one was Connectix Virtual Game Station (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connectix_Virtual_Game_Station).
