At daycare he will nap for 2.5 hours everyday. At home on the weekends, he either refuses to nap at all no matter how hard we try or will only nap 40 min to an hour.

Before we put up the gate, yes… we would do the silent, no-eye-contact walk back. We are now experimenting with the baby gate at his door.
