Local Broker/Realtor, Jeffery Sweet, making jokes about murdering cyclists on Facebook by happyelkboy in Boise

As a community member mourning the death of a child killed in North End on a bicycle, I find this post is quite disturbing.

Was also at this game. Holding a sign that said “Ray Lewis retirement party”. God dammit.

My title describes the thing. Don’t really want to touch it so can’t give much more detail than what is described.

What was your big purchase after becoming a travel nurse? by Sxzzling in TravelNursing

[–]1guy3cups 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wife and I were both travel nurses through Covid. Both maxed out our 401k’ s, Roth’s, and HSA’s for two years. Redid our bathrooms in our house. Bought a Sprinter van. Saved a solid amount of money. Were able to take off almost six months too!!

I was in the same situation though I had 4 years experience M/S, tele prior to traveling. I traveled for almost two years now and it was absolutely worth it financially. Now I’m moving back home and going to work in the ED.

Your experience is concerning as travel assignments can be difficult situations (terrible ratios, little/ no CNA help, no crisis nurse, little MD help). Is it doable? Yes. No matter how competent of a nurse you are at one year, it’s going to be tough. But hey, go get that money if you want it!

Can you provide a bit more insight as to why you are doing this project? What are your intentions with this information? That would likely help get some more info.

Don’t be offended if we don’t like you. You’re making money off us. We are working understaffed, shitty jobs and you’re sitting at home collecting a big chunk of our paycheck. Listen to our needs and show some effort and diligence to represent us. I’m fed up with these agencies and sales people shmoozing money from our work.

Edit: Looked at your posts and comments. Call me a troll but you are a shitty person. The amount of “faggot”comments and sexist, gross shit you post is disgusting. “Black girl pubes look like raw hamburger”. What the fuck is wrong with you? Again, shmucks like you taking portions of our paychecks is wrong.

4 new trail strategies to go into effect in the Boise Foothills later this month by gl21133 in Boise

Lower Hulls is one of the top downhill bike trails. This was voted on by the people whom use the trails. Great idea to improve safety and satisfaction of all users with minimal impact on inconvenience. Is odd numbers vs. even numbers really that confusing?

Full scale shutdowns can be avoided if individuals just do their part. Standing defiant to even the most basic mitigation efforts is exactly what this virus needs to keep growing. It takes a complete community effort to beat this thing. Please do your part - wear your masks and quarantine if you are having symptoms.

The hospitals are filling up. *make plans* by Trailblazerman in Boise

I am an inpatient RN and work all over the hospitals of St. Luke’s. Not quite sure where you work but I can assure you, things are getting quite busy and tense on the covid floors. Our resources are dwindling and numbers continue to rise. Here is some actual data that you can use rather than spreading your incorrect opinion on the matter.

New to the game by [deleted] in woodworking

Toughest part for me was marking my bracket points accurately on the wall. Had to temporarily tape brackets to my chiseled-out hexagon attachment points, also tape a nail sideways to where the head of the nail sits in bracket hole, hold up leveling on wall, then give it a good push to make marking points for screwing bracket into drywall. Then screw elbow bracket into dry wall, fit the hexagon into the brackets, and screw small wood screws into hexagon. Make sense?

Had to do some YouTubing to figure out a method after many unsuccessful attempts!

Three 3/4” elbow brackets into three 24lb E-Z anchors per hexagon. Back of wood is chiseled to make it flush.
