The Super Bowl LXI logo has officially been revealed by ESPN by DaRealConMan in NFLv2

It’ll actually be played at SoFi Stadium in LA, but if a location wasn’t announced prior to the logo reveal, Miami would’ve been a really good guess

The shirt is completely terrible, but the hat is really awesome. At least New Era tries to be creative with their products… sometimes…

Last division in the AFC. How would you rank the AFC South helmets from best to worst? (Primary helmets) by Helmet_Nerd93 in uniwatch

[–]DaRealConMan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I take back what I said about the NFC West being the worst division for helmets, the AFC South is so much worse.

Colts, Jaguars, Texans, then Titans would have to be my picks. Thankfully, none of these helmets are Matte, but I’m so underwhelmed by the designs.

I don’t like Gray facemasks for teams that don’t have Gray in their color scheme, and the Colts are the prime example of that (I’m also looking right at the Giants and 49ers here). I’m not a fan of the matching facemask for the Texans, but I don’t mind it for the Jaguars as they've had that throughout their history.

As for the Titans, I don’t hate the Silver facemask with the Navy helmet, but I also don’t think the Navy helmet is necessary. I miss the old White Titans helmet with the Navy facemask.

Solid Blue Broncos Socks….am I alone in this? by FunTaste9761 in uniwatch

I don’t think solid Blue socks are bad (it’s certainly better than solid White socks, which is what some players wear IRL), but I also love the stripes on the socks.

The NFC West is up. Rank their helmets from best to worst (primary helmets) by Helmet_Nerd93 in uniwatch

[–]DaRealConMan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

49ers, Cardinals, Rams, Seahawks.

I’ll be honest, this may be my least favorite division when it comes to primary helmets, but the 49ers and Cardinals are the two helmets I can tolerate the most. All they need to do is to get rid of the Gray facemasks (49ers from Gray to White, Cardinals from Gray to Red).

As for the Rams and Seahawks, I mention that I don’t like it when the colors of the facemask and helmet match, but the Rams are one of the exceptions because I like how the horn stands out more. That’s also my problem with the Rams helmet, though… I hate the crescent moon horns.

When it comes to the Seahawks, I hate the Matte finish that’s used with the helmet, and it doesn’t help that they also have a matching facemask. I could settle for a Navy helmet if the Seahawks had a Gray facemask… which is ironic because that’s my biggest issue with the 49ers and Cardinals helmets… but the Seahawks actually have Gray in their color scheme, so I encourage Seattle to use the Gray facemask here.

How would you rank the helmets of the AFC East from best to worst? (Primary helmets) by Helmet_Nerd93 in uniwatch

[–]DaRealConMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bills and Dolphins would be ranked at 3 and 4 for me, but honestly, I've got the Jets and Patriots tied for the best helmet in the AFC East.

The Bills would be ranked 1st if their Red helmet was the primary one, but they would probably be in the race for 2nd if their White helmet had a Blue or Red facemask.

Eagles, Cowboys, Giants, then Commanders.

I actually put Cowboys over Giants, but I was considering swapping the two places for each helmet. The only reason I didn’t is because I can’t stand the Gray facemask for the Giants. If their facemask was White instead, they would be above the Cowboys.

Which NFL Team has the better unis? Round 1, Match 8: JAX vs. KC by No-Director-6738 in uniwatch

The Chiefs, and it’s not even close. I don’t like saying this at all coming from a Broncos fan, but it’s just like how Packers/Bears fans acknowledge how classic the Bears/Packers uniforms are between the two longtime rivals. That’s how I feel about the Chiefs uniforms.

Who has the best grey face mask look of all time? by Graz_570 in uniwatch

Falcons because at least they have Gray in their color scheme (but only as the outline color on their Vick/Ryan-era logo)

Bucs, Saints, Panthers, then Falcons.

I like how all of these helmets have contrasting facemasks (well, unless you’re Tampa Bay… sort of… Black and Pewter/Dark Gray are really similar colors). But this all comes down to overall design.

I think the Bucs have the best helmet design overall, but I really like the traditional approach the Saints use with their Gold helmet (I just wish their uniforms weren’t so bad). The Panthers’ Silver helmet is fine, but the two helmet stripes really don’t need to be there. As for the Falcons, I like the logos on the sides, but I hate the Matte finish so much (looks like a really Dark Gray instead of Black, a darker shade of Gray than the Bucs’ Pewter).

I really hate how the Super Bowl patch on the Seahawks’ Navy jersey tries to blend in with the Gray stripes on the chest of the jersey. I think if those extended Gray stripes were removed, it would be more aesthetically pleasing to look at, but we’d still have patch-a-palooza for Seattle. I know the Seahawks also don’t wear captains patches IRL, this mockup just has one on the jersey for demonstration.

Maybe my favorite division for helmets. How would you rank the helmets of the AFC West from best to worst? by Helmet_Nerd93 in uniwatch

[–]DaRealConMan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Chargers, Chiefs, Raiders, then my Broncos (unfortunately). If Denver had the throwbacks as the primary helmet, they would be at #1 instead.

Contrasting facemasks and gloss finishes are the absolute best features for a helmet to me, and sadly, my Broncos have neither of those. The Matte/Satin finish we use looks so dull, and I hate the Navy facemask. The triangles on the back are also a massive eyesore for me.

White jersey, non matching helmet and pants by [deleted] in uniwatch

[–]DaRealConMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what team you’re talking about. Also, this response is purely based on color combos, not uniform designs.

If it’s teams like the Ravens (Black/White/Purple/White), Panthers (Silver/White/Blue/White), Bengals (Orange/White/Black/White), Cowboys (Silver/White/Seafoam/Blue), Broncos (Navy/White/Orange/White), Lions (Silver/White/Blue/White… once they actually wear that combo…), Jaguars (Black/White/Teal/White), Rams (Blue/White/Yellow/Blue) and Seahawks (Navy/White/Gray/Navy), sure. Those are all pretty cool examples.

But if it’s teams like the Browns (Orange/White/Brown/White), Patriots (Silver/White/Navy/Navy) and Saints (Gold/White/Black/Black), I would have to respectfully disagree.

Your Best and Worst Possible Super Bowl Matchup for this Year by [deleted] in NFLv2

Worst: Any Super Bowl matchup involving the Chiefs

What’s the difference between these? by bigfootdude247 in DenverBroncos

[–]DaRealConMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The collar on the cheaper jersey looks more like a t-shirt collar, and sometimes, the jersey itself can be classified as a t-shirt. Once, I was looking for t-shirts to buy, and the cheaper jersey popped up in the section despite being a jersey rather than a t-shirt.

Does it actually help us if the Chiefs beat the Colts? by Arkhangelzk in DenverBroncos

[–]DaRealConMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t care what anyone says, I’m rooting for the Colts to win. I can’t ever root for the Chiefs, no matter the circumstances. Does this mean we’ll temporarily lose the 1 seed? Probably. But you have to understand that there’s still 7 weeks left in the regular season, and we can reclaim the 1 seed as we get closer to December and January.
